good on him, he' s not doing anything illegal. by your reckoning everything thats on ebay that you can get cheaper elsewhere should be reported. crazy

if it wasn't illegal, why was it removed. ?

Probably because eBay never check the reports they receive, they just take the the listing down.

£9 for a multi-region player is a great price though.
  • I know this is off topic but someone on here might be able to answer my question - are the little games you get for nintendo ds's the same all over the world - some you just change the language on, or do they differ say for a japanese set? Only we have family going to Japan and they wondered if they got a game for DD whether it would work?
Sorry for going off on a different path!

I've got a Jap game for my DS and it works okay (other than the language is mostly... Japanese!)

My niece and nephews have a whole load of DS games from the States and they all work okay too.

I remember years ago when the likes of BBC Watchdog were campaigning to have plugs fitted as standard on new electrical items. (Anyone remember when you had to fit your own plug on everything? It seems hard to believe now that every new electrical item had loose metal wires poking out of the end of the flex.)

I remember this so well as I was 'a qualified plug fitter' when I worked at Boots The Chemist back in the eighties. I was sent to Leeds to complete a course and at the end of it gained a certificate to allow me to fit plugs on little old ladies hairdryers'!

Remember those tiny round 2-pin plugs that you had to twist to unscrew?

    Those were the days!!!

I got a wiring a plug certificate somewhere, that was back in the late 1980s!

Before the requirement came in with regard to having plugs fitted, the first two companies I worked for - only small companies, but we (after I suggested it) always then supplied goods with a fitted plug, the company was already insured just incase people were injured due to any of our repairs and fitting plugs was included in the cover, the plugs only cost us 12 - 18p at the time, seemed the right thing to do and the customers appreciated it.
