Most places have probably all sold out, they did go on sale on the 25th and many people were buying them up, probably sold out the day they were put on the shelves in many stores.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

No. If you read the posts above, the last few say about all 67,000 of them selling out very quickly, within hours in some stores.

I remember this so well as I was 'a qualified plug fitter' when I worked at Boots The Chemist back in the eighties. I was sent to Leeds to complete a course and at the end of it gained a certificate to allow me to fit plugs on little old ladies hairdryers'!

Remember those tiny round 2-pin plugs that you had to twist to unscrew?

    Those were the days!!!

We bought a telly from Currys in the 80's. It had a plug already fitted, which blew up in my hand when I plugged it into the mains! Sparks, smoke and a huge (thankfully not electrical) shock! The wires weren't conected properly and short circuited. The fuse was also too high of a rating.

Again in the 80's, an uncle of mine had problems with his tumble drier. He asked me what might be wrong, (I was only about 9 at the time, and tinkered with all things electrical as a bit of a hobby). First thing I checked was the plug, which the small local dealer had wired, live to neutral and neutral to live!

As daft as it was that equipment didn't come with plugs already wired, they did it to avoid the sort of problems above.

I saw one of these in Asda yesterday, looked like a customer return to be honest.

However, it now scans at the old price of £17.84 - I left it at the till!
