  • I was just wondering if i can play copied dvds on these? I get lots of tv taped on my dads hard drive then burnt to dvd but my dvd player wont play them only the other halves sony one will???
  • It seems to be the DVD1005 model (source) which means there's a multi-region hack, which you can find at avforums.

    The player looks like a portable with a power lead (and without the screen)

    Look on the unit, it doesn't have the logos, so no.

    DivX licensing would cost too much to make that DVD only £9......it wouldn't happen.

    Isnt DVD playback alone for £9 good enough?!!!

  • I think you will find that 95% of electronic goods are made by people getting paid similar amounts, the cost difference lies in cheaper components and finishes, hence more expensive = Better looking and lasts longer. While cheap = tacky looking and won't last as long.
