There burgers include nowhere near 100% BEEF but whats inside is actually 100% beef. This is their marketing angle. Its ridiculous. Theyve been using this tactic for years.

I dont know if many people know but a recent study found that, in meat levels, a good piece of steak from the butchers is Class B. Class C is whats usually found in supermarket and what was found in Mcd's was an astonishing Class E meat.

So it is 100% beef, isnt it???

Loads of products are marketed that way - 100% cod in fish fingers, means of the cod that is in them, it is 100% cod - however there may only be 20% cod actually in it!!!

Lots of frozen burgers etc also have the same on their boxes - 100% beef - again that means that the 20% (or so) beef that is in it is pure 100%!

I have also been told, however I don't know how true it is that Irish Recipe sausages are called so as there isn't enough pork in them to call them Pork Sausages

The mind boggles as to how much rubbish is in processed food!
  • That chicken head thing is a fake i think because I've seen the same story, only it was about KFC...at least that's what I'm gonna tell myself next time I have a Maccy Ds :p

This article is about Burger King, but could just as easily relate to McDonalds
These people have been ripping us off for years.

There was some rumours about KFC actually genetically mutating some chicken to have just the body, no head, no legs, no feathers, etc. Just a lump of meat that will grow and feed by a plastic tube.

Sorry, but this may be a bit ranty, but if you have nothing more to worry about than the size of the apple pies in McDonald's sundae, then I really have no sympathy for you whatsoever.

It doesn't matter. It's inconsequential. It's trivial. It's pointless. Or in other words... get a life!

For the record, the image above clearly shows a minature pie. Anyone thinking otherwise needs their eyes examining. Sometimes I think people just look for something to complain about.
