Yes I realise it's the same Ice cream but when you mix the ice cream in the flurry it makes it less softer and i was making the comment that you get 1 pie with the pie & ice for 99p and not two as already mentioned. Let me tell you something about which you can be happy:
For some years, now, the pies in American McDonald's have been baked rather than fried. You have no idea how this upset me when I was in America. Mickey-D's is generally much worse over here than in the States* but at least you've got the fried pies.

I went to McDonalds yesterday, I go once in a blue moon. When I got home, the 2 apple pies for 99p I bought, were 1 apple pie, and one small apple pie! I didn't even know they made them. It seems that I was given a regular, and a small apple pie that's used for the ice cream and apple pie.
