Not sure what you mean here.
All accounts are limited avaliablity and can be withdrawn at any time.
Unless it was due to a Santander error you missed the deadline then its tough cookies.
I had £30,000 with Santander for 1 year, maturing on 1 Nov 2011 - I got just over £29 interest!!!!!!!!! No communication from Santander. I had to go in to a branch to be told - oh yes, we have a problem, please bear with us!!!!!!!!!!!! What?????? Santander - you are rubbish at Customer service.:(0

You will get your interest, just give it a few days. There was a problem with the computer system on 1st November that meant some accounts didn't have the interest added.
It is the first time I have seen it happen in the 18 months I have been there.
The company have said that nobody will be financially disadvantaged.0

Depends how many hundreds of thousands you had in the Santander account I suppose...I'm looking to place money into good account...but it will be "pulled" soon...what about loss of interest by missing deadline?
As I understand it (mine is going to an external account so dunno for sure yet), the capital is being paid out, but the interest isn't. So, if you had £85k invested, you now have £85k and are 'missing' around £2k (assuming standard-rate tax). Maybe some loss on the £2k, but no real excuse for missing out on the £85k (also if you invested £87k and they went bust you might only get £85k back anyway, so Santander could be saving you money..!).0

You seem very loyal to Santander and all its faults0

Your easily pleased if you think this is acceptable....the desk staff must have known there was a problem with the interest...so they lied when I asked for a balance..!0

Just this minute looked at my account online. Interest has been paid today although some customer service staff are unaware of this0

I wonder if the programme is being rolled out over the course of the day and (hopefully) your interest will be in later today0
