CG - Think of the petrol money you'll save too.....These boots are made for walking.....

Have walked dogs, nipped to shop for bread and milk (no-one likes BM bread anymore:mad:) picked up some lardy cake by mistake too :p, picked DS up, we've just had lunch, cheese and marmite on toast. Next on the agenda in hoovering downstairs, doing bathroom, making sausage rolls, and prepping wedges for tea. Got a headache but i think i need more tea :D

    noon all,

My mum spoke to the doc today, Gdad has about 1/2 weeks left, his heart is giving up and his lungs are filling with fluid..... :(

Really don't feel like going to London tomorrow, but have to. Friend wants to drink which i don't fancy doing, - want to save money, so will see what happens.

Would quite like a stiff drink x

Bramble: Oh, that's awful. Quite understand that you don't want to go out. At times like this the world just closes in on you.
Betheebee: Happy Anniversary. Hope the hosp goes better this time.
Adelight: Know how you feel. When I'm done here I have to go and clear a path from door to bed. In fact I have to clear quite a lot of paths.
flutterby: I often watch neighbours. I'll be looking out for you!

    Will I never learn?
Had to go up to the PO with letters today and the vicaress offered to go with me and I foolishly agreed. On the way home I found myself steered into the travel agents and 2 hours later emerged having, apparently, booked a holiday in Greece for next year. GREECE!!!!!! We came home and noticed the newspaper headlines. What have we done?

Having spent all morning out, my famous to-do list is no nearer being finished. I had a large plastic bag left from the British Heart Foundation for clothes, so I will shortly be off to declutter a few clothes and perhaps will find my bedroom floor in the process.
Only a little of the gammon joint left so am going to try a version of Fidget Pie.

    Coffee first, I think.
