I made a pasta bake yesterday and put a few portions in the freezer for later. someone at work told me today that I should not freeze pasta. Is this correct, have I wasted all that lovely dinner?0

I freeze pasta with sauce all the time. I do not think there are any food safety issues

I don't think it's a food safety issue, but I always find that frozen and reheated pasta tends towards the rubbery side... or am I doing something wrong?Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hi folks

I don't see why not - although the microwave may be a bit harsh for fish.
what about paoching the fish to keep it moist - and if you only poach it very lightly it can finish cooking in the fish pie itself? I'd use milk with a pepper corn and bay leaf and when it's about still slightly undercooked continue as normal for fish pie. HTHr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
