Hi
I'm changing my eating habits and stating to do home cooking, I came across this recipe which I'd like to have ago at, however, is it me or is there some liquid missing from the receipe:
Vegetable Curry
1 large onion – chopped
1 tspn paprika
2 cloves garlic – crushed
1 tspn cumin seeds
Fry light
1 tspn chilli powder (+/- to taste)
1 can chickpeas
½ tspn ground coriander
½ tspn turmeric
1½ tspn garam masala – add 2 minutes before the end of cooking
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 sm can garden peas
1 can red kidney beans in chilli sauce
2/3 carrots – sliced or cut into chunks
3 medium potatoes – cut into bite size chunks
Spray a large pan with fry light and stir fry the onions until golden.
Add the crushed garlic and all the spices except the garam masala and fry for a further minute.
Add the remaining ingredients, bring to the boil then simmer over a low heat until the vegetables are tender. Add the garam masala 2 minutes before the end of cooking.
Thx

Perhaps they recipe means don't drain the canned ingredients. If that's not it, perhaps the chopped tomatoes and the kidney beans in chilli sauce will give the liquid required0
