Literally the seeds from a fresh chilli? What do you do with them?
i use dried chiliy seeds, just sprinkle them on after you have coated the wedges in oil.

Depends what you want to use it for: if cooking you could try gentle microwave or just lob it in, otherwise in bowl of cold water ...

Need to use some potatos up so was going to make spicy wedges. Is it just wedge shapes covered in paprika (with oil first) then bake? Any other suggestions - can't find the thread form a few months ago!

    Hi Skint_catt,
i tried the wedges with a bit of oil and burnt them and they were quite hard in the middle.
When i tried the next lot i followed a relatives advice and did this.

Put the wedges in a pan of water and bring to the boil, simmer for a few mins and then empty the water out and fill the pan with cold water until the wedges are cool, drain and empty them into a plastic bag with your spices - i used garlic and bbq seasoning, blow up the bag so it`s full of air and twist the top round and shake like mad to coat them all evenly, put on a greased baking tray and spray a tiny amount of oil on and then bake in the oven.
They were yummy and i always do them this way now, one of the mistakes i have made is to boil them too long and they were a bit mushy:D
