    market vs veg/fruit box?

i was using a veg box scheme but found it was a supplier that tesco also use but i started to find qualtiy was not as good...

do riverford deliver to you? This is an organic box scheme. As far as i know they do nto supply supermarkets (the blurb explains that they were set up specifically in order to escape supermarkets). They do several different boxes and you can pick which box you want a couple of days before delivary so you do get some choice. I've found the quality very good (for organic veg). Cost wise about teh same as a supermarket for our veg but far healthier as we now eat a wide variety of "strange adn unusual" stuff rather than the standard things that I alwasy choose when shopping.

    4 tbsp oil
2 pinches of chilli powder or as much as you want
¼ tsp turmeric powder, pinch of cumin

bit of tomato puree or tomato ketchup
    some potatoes, boiled and quartered
    salt

    1. Heat the oil in a pan
    2. add the chilli, tomato puree cumin and turmeric powder, add salt to taste.
    4. Stir and Fry for 1 minute then add the potatoes. Fry for about 4 minutes until the potatoes are . They will look yellowy orange in colour. Cover the pan and on a low heat, cook the potatoes for a further 5 minutes.

Watch it doesn't burn, this is quite a dry curry

Yum! Mum used to make this and I loved it with grilled or roasted lamb. If I had any nowadays I'd probably simmer a bit into the gravy or do something wierd and wonderful with it, although I think it was redcurrant jelly that I used to put in a long-lost recipe for oven-baked meatballs in tomato sauce.
