I was given several small round mozarellas so now I know what to do with them - anyone give any suggestions for the sliced (I think) feta? Not a cheese I usually buy!

As others have said, mozarella is traditional on pizza. I also do a veggie pizza with halved cherry tomatoes, olives and feta - Greek style, I suppose
DS uses mozarella to make a mean cheese toastie, too.

Hi
Sorry if this has already been asked... we've just made some home made vegetable and chicken soup and I was wondering if we should wait for it to cool down before we freeze it or put it in the freezer straight away?
Sorry if this is really thick but i'm rubbish at stuff like this
Thanks guys

Yup, you need to cool it right down before you freeze it. Put the pan in a bowl of cold water if you are in a hurry. Add ice to the bowl of cold water if you are in even more of a hurry.0 -

Thanks for the tip on freezing Mozarella....I often it see it reduced in my local small chain supermarket, never even entered my tiny mind that I could freeze it. Doh!
And it now pains me to think that there was a huge block of it between x-mas and new year that was pretty cheap....arghhhh....
Oh, next question, do you freeze it in it's little bag of fluid or rinse it and just cling it?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Hi guys, I have looked through all the laundry section and can't find anything on this. I accidentally put some of my lads school shirts in for a wash with my daughters top that had felt tip on. The felt tip came out and discoluored th white shirts. I have tried, stain go, dylon whitener, white brightner. but to no avail. Now I saw an advert for vanish white thingy, it shows you it foaming to make the whites whiter. would bicarb have the same effect or not? Or have you guys got any suggestions? Whenever I have bad stains on white clothes I just put straight bleach on them and leave it until the stain disappears and then wash as normal. You can only do this on white clothes, of course, because bleach will spoil coloured clothes.
If the whole shirt is stained then I would fill the sink up with warm water and mix in plenty of bleach and leave the garment to soak in this. Don't worry if the bleach makes the shirt go purple, this will disappear when you wash.0 -
I'm making broccoli soup. Should I use the stalks or just the florets? Will the stalks make it stringy?
