Cougar here again (*sniff*, *cough*) - yep having thought I had escaped the cold season even with my suppressed immune system and Dr Dragon working at a University on the Monday just gone I woke and some bar steward had filled my sinuses with Gloy Glue! So I am sat here decluttering boxes of tissues and mugs of ginger and lemon tea and looking anything but sexy
Trying to decide if I should venture out and post some parcels (and go to the pub for lunch) or should I stay home with a bowl of mushroom soup? I need to phone the garage and find out if the car will be fixed today (if not then I need to phone to docs and re-arrange an appointment :mad:), hmm the one advantage of NOT having the car is not going shoe shopping! Okay so I need new trainers but I HATE shopping :rotfl:

Okay, Monday was the second MRI and oh boy was that fun (not!
), Complete spine and head (hopefully they will find my brain :rotfl:), an hour of pain ensued.
Monday and Tuesday were wiped out due to the pain, luckily yesterday was okay, I say luckily as I met a friend for lunch in Cambridge, and if the pain had been too bad we would have had to have called it off. Wagamama's for lunch was wonderful (if a tad calorific! :eek:) But for something I do so seldom it was well worth it (and my weight was just the thing this morning!
)
I am spending today catching up mail, and relaxing, as the same friend is actually coming to stay for the weekend :j:j:j (this was unexpected but excellent). Other than that I'm still playing a waiting game for the appointment for a lumbar puncture (I don't want this but the neurologist seems to think I need it :mad:) I am seeing the neurologist on the 25th so it would be interesting to see if they have managed to sort the appointment before then! At the moment I would say NO!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi Dragon,
Been catching up on your thread and I'm so sorry that you're going through the mill a bit at the moment. Hopefully things will start to look up when you have had all the tests.
My partner had a lumbar puncture a couple of months ago and he said afterwards that it was nowhere near as bad as he thought it was going to be. Sometimes the thought is worse, and our minds do have a nasty habit of building something up into a huge worry.
Big hugs!
