Okay spent a couple of days using our new shredder and clearing dead paperwork! Cleaners should be coming on Tuesday (purlease! the place looks 'orrid! :o), my big computer is still on the sick list :(, so the DESK of DOOM is still the Desk of Doom :rotfl:, I managed some crochet BUT I need a more ergonomic crochet hook (Clover) so treated myself to one with an Amaz*n voucher :D.

Ooh reached my first payout on YouG*v so once that arrived I slapped it onto the CC (and still no more spends on that!). Finally got Dr Dragon to take some stuff to the Sally Army collection bin in the Church carpark, so that is a load of shoes/boots/tops etc no longer cluttering up here (still a long way to go though! :o), need to sort through some books and get those to the Charity Shop sooner rather than later (hmm if I crack on with it this week then next Saturday could be a good day for that).

One thing I want to check this week is when the tip is open, we have some defunct electrical "stuff" that I want to get rid of, and over the Christmas break could be a good time for that, I also want to sort through some folders that have recipes in - I suspect I can bin the lot and get rid of the ring binders to the CS as well (both are D*sney ones, one with W*nne the Po*h and the other with 101 D*lmations on).

Next I need to contact a local carpenter and see about getting a built in wardrobe and shelves with a sliding door - this will make the bedroom look better (also see about someone coming in and re-doing the ceiling, namely proper lime plaster rather than wood chip paper :eek::eek:).

The cleaners came yesterday (woo hoo!!! :j:j:j:j Goddess I had forgotten what colour the kitchen sink is :rotfl:), DESK of DOOM is still the Desk of Doom :o, but Dr Dragon is gradually curing my sick computer (it is wonderful being married to a geek :p), I have ordered the last couple of gifties (well tried too - Thornt*ns is playing silly bu88ers at the moment , might need to phone them in a bit *sigh*, I hate using the phone!)

I put a smidgeon on my CC as I needed a new sweater (pain means I feel cold all the time) - but that will be paid off next week - so not unduly worried about that (and it is interest free on new purchases for another 6 months in any case!)

Other than that life is fairly boring in the Dragon household at the moment - which might be a good thing :D

Cougar Time - I can't believe it has been a month since I checked in on here! (actually between Dr Dragon being off, my computer being mended :j and my stress over the medical appointments I can understand it).

Today is going to be a shredding and sorting day I think (along with a couple of phone calls - hate making phone calls )

okay so this week I have managed to do :-

    1. hand wash compression socks
    2. hand wash top #1
    3. hand wash top #2
    4. hand wash compression socks (they get done every two days :p)
    5. clean stove top
    6. wash hair
    7. clear sofa
    still to do :-

    1. clean loo
    2. clean bathroom sink
    3. empty bins
    4. wash hair
    5. get parcel ready for posting
    6. post parcel :D
    7. Dr Dragon's paperwork upstairs
    8. "Febreeze" sofa
that is it for me this week, we have friends coming for the weekend and I want to be compos mentis when they are here :o, the sofa is a dumping spot (but currently has my crochet, my handbag, the item for the parcel and Dr Dragon's book on it), but needs to be clear as they will be sleeping on it :rotfl:, meanwhile conserving spoons and listening to The Police , bed linen for them was washed last weekend so that is nice and fresh (we have one set of "company" linen as that goes on a double duvet, we have a king sized one :D)
