Trying to avoid the BS 30% sale as I have to go into town today. Also received a letter from them with an offer of shower gel or gift card in a draw if I go in, they must know I'm trying to resist! ;)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

It's obviously a sign and they are trying to save you from yourself ;)!

We have UU'd TBS coconut bubble bath. WIBA?: On an offer like previously hell yeah! Everyone liked it and it was nice and moisturising. Have decanted the Avon one into the nice M&S glass bottle we won back in April. It looks pretty :).
I've lost my mobile phone :( so now have to go out and see if it dropped out of my pocket at the gym yesterday when I took DS swimming. It's the only place it can be really as I put it in my pocket when I got out of bed but took it out and put it in my coat pocket as I didn't want to sit on it. I hope it hasn't been pinched as it's too faffy to get another one sorted. It's the sim rather than anything as it's a very old phone.

    3 ins - 3 x nail varnish

UU - 5 of the conditioners you get in hair dyes, bleached my sisters hair so got to whack them all on it over the last 2 days to try and make it a bit less dry. WBA
UU - vanilla bubble bath from treacle moon I think it is, WBA because I love the smell but have a few others to use first
UU - oral b mouthwash - WNBA I didn't like the flavour, tasted a bit banana-y to me, and I want minty fresh :D
UU - boots coconut leave in conditioner - WBA because I love the smell and how well it works, and it's cheap enough. Think I have another in the stash though.

    UU: Mitchum roll-on deoderant.

WIBA? Yes, but I don't need to and I will probably try something less strong next time as I don't need anything that strong as I don't work somewhere as hot anymore. :)

It's not cheap I grant you, but I really like Clarins Beauty Flash Balm - I definitely feel like I look more 'awake' when I'm wearing it and that it makes my skin a bit brighter, as well as helping my makeup stick better - my skin isn't particularly oily but I do notice a difference if I don't wear Flash Balm. Benefit's That Gal is nice too for doing what it's meant to, but I'd like a different design to the tube as it never felt like it lasted very long and I wasn't exactly trowelling it on...

I have That Gal, but I can't 'see' it doing anything to improve my tone. Or maybe it's just me :/ I haven't tried Flash Balm, my sister may have a sample which I'll try to 'borrow' ;)

sawan- I use GOSH velvet touch which I think is really good, people have commented that my skin looks smoother and clearer and it helps my makeup last all day(I don't use it everyday)but I haven't tried others. My friend has tried a few primers and she says this is the best one so far. I have heard no17 one is similar to the GOSH so maybe go to boots/superdrug and have a look?

Do you know which GOSH one it is? I looked at the superdrug site and there seem to be three. I have heard about the Velvet Touch, and that's the one I was initally going to buy, but didn't know which to go for so considered 17 as it was simpler :p

I should be going shopping tomorrow night, if you could let me know which one you have, that would be great. Thank you!

Sawan, the best primer I've tried is Laura Mercier but it's way expensive. Haven't tried GOSH or 17 so if they are any good I'll be buying them once I've exhausted the Mercier stuff!

Also did some non-beauty & toiletries shopping. I need a "no to buying unnecessary clothes and especially keep out of Karen Millen" thread...

I'll let you know once I've had a try! I think there is a no clothes buying thread, I think Rosemary may be taking part...?

    INs
Nail Rock Nail Wraps x 4: I've been wanting to try these for a while, but at £6.75 per pack in MrB they're a bit pricey  I found duo packs on ASOS for £10 each, so I made use of the 10% off code yesterday with free next day delivery and ordered them. Umm.. Counting them as necessary as I'm starting/have started a blog, and really, really needed some wraps to review :D :rotfl:

sawan- The one I have is: GOSH velvet touch foundation primer http://www.superdrug.com/primer/gosh-velvet-touch-foundation-primer/invt/483176/

I have a couple of samples I could pop in the post for you?

I did also try avon magix skin perfecter when they had the £4 swap offer and it felt pretty similar, just thicker. But it had a strong smell which really bothered me!

  • Really keen to try the GOSH primer now. Think I should keep away from Superdrug!

Do things you find that you've forgotten about count as ins? I fear they must. I'm not a gym member any more cos I've joined a running club so I was clearing out my gym bag and found all manner of bobbins. Strange can of L'oreal crackling mousse for legs (why did I buy this? Why do L'oreal make it? Of all the barking mad products, honestly, the shops must see me coming), some mandarin conditioner, dregs of a Tesco finest body spray (actually it is fab, not sure if they still make it. Shimmering body fragrance or something and smells just like Chanel Allure. Glad I rediscovered it) and a small tube of Neal's yard orange flower moisturiser which I think might have been on the cover of a mag some time ago (as in probably 2 years, oh the shame of my hoarding).

I am determinedly using them all up. Got some splutterers which I hope to UU before the end of November. One thing that is determinedly resisting its end is my Korres lip balm which I swear has been on the go for 18 months. It's very nice but I think it's like that magic porridge pot in the fairy story!!

Will look out for the 'resist buying more clothes' thread, thanks. I need it!
