    I need your sympathy, ladies!

I went upstairs to my Big Drawer in the Bathroom to find that my huge bottle of lovely Matthew Williamson perfume has leaked away due to some metal in the frame coming loose from the glass. I've had that bottle at least 2 years and hadn't even used 1/3 of it as it is strong, so you only need a little bit.

And it was my birthday. And the perfume was a birthday present back when I received it. :(

oh no  but it comes back to the PR philosophy (although speaking from experince it can be hard to use items)
No more UUs but a couple of splutters.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Oh Pickle :( but happy birthday (if Ive read that right??!!!) :)

one UU today - the sachet of strawberry face mask. WIBA? no, dont htink so. it was runny and didnt smell very nice at all. to be fair, my skin does feel like something has happened to it - but not as good as the tea-tree one that i UU last week.

I'm in again too - haven't posted for a few months now, but have been following (albeit always several days behind!), and have some lists with reviews to post soon.

Val, I responded on Facebook to your post. :)

Hi, I have responded to you on Facebook. Happy to swap. PM me here or on FB with your address and I'll send the Ojon on. x

Didn't respond last night as we were out watching the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at MEN. Am still on high - they were AMAZING.

Back OT : Another UU today - pot of TBS Pink Grapefruit body scrub. Was nice but I find the TBS ones a bit watery and difficult to apply.

Anybody else finding this time of year hard re: toiletry buying? I feel bombarded by special offers ie TBS, Avon and QVC. At this time of year I usually buy the OPI and Elemis TSVs but as I bought lacquers in the US MrM thinks I shouldn't buy the OPI one. I know I don't NEED anymore but it's wanting the new colours that may be in the kit that is getting to me! Am hoping they are colours I already own. The Elemis one isn't bothering me as much because there are two items in the kit that I know won't suit me - the cleanser (have tried it before and for the price of it it's nothing special) and a hand cream (if it's anything like the last one will irritate me).

On the plus side Liz Earle replied promptly and exchanged the Shave Cream for a can of Cleanse & Polish so that's one stocking filler for Emma under my belt. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I know I am bad:rotfl:but I was trying to buy some YSL from Debs as the MSemail today gave a code for an extra 10% off(FG72) BUT it did not work:mad:anyone else tried? However if I put two YSL items in the basket I get a free goody bag so not sure whether to order or not?I did get one from ySL direct recently when they sent me the wrong stuff....i could not be bothered returning it and paying postage so kept it but still need the original item
  • Hi everyone! I have a rare day off today, only problem is that my dad is stalking me round the house because he's home on annual leave and doesn't really know what to do with himself!

    2 UU to report:

Avene Cleanance Lotion - WIBA? Of course, this is my day time moisturiser of choice for my face. However it isn't enough for the Winter months so now I'm going on to the Avene Hydrance Legere that I didn't finish last winter (or more like in April when it stopped being quiet to cold!)

Avene Thermal Spring Water - WIBA? You bet (but I'm on to my backup one now!) I'm fed up of people saying this is just water. The Avene Spring has been proven to provide haling benefits for all types of skin conditions. All their products contain the spring water, but I like to use it at night instead of my Cleanance toner (which used twice a day makes me break out).

Hope everyone is doing well today, I'm going to order some boots from Tesco because I uummed and aaahhhed the other day and now they have 20% off! It must be fate! Have a good day ladies!

Debenhams have 10% off beauty from today anyway. So either the code is not yet active, or it can't be combined with the discount already given maybe? You only need one item right? So I'm going to be the voice of reason (ahem) and advise you to only buy the item you need.

I would but turns out he has a school meeting this evening (he's a governor at my old primary school) so he should be reading a whole bunch of stuff.

I have lots of splutterers that I just want to get used up!

Does anybody have any primer recommendations? I've heard good things about the 17 one..?
I read good reviews on makeupalley about the Natio one (stocked in Debenhams). I've since bought one. I've only used it a few times, but so far it seems to work well.
