Gorgeous! I especially love the white orchids in the vase. Can't see what they're made from though; where did you find them? I'm having orchids too, and am still deciding on table centrepieces.

Thank you also for mentioning Triangle Nurseries; I've been looking for a flower wholesaler who sells to the public, as I'm growing my own flowers (sweet peas from seed, orchids from full plants), but would like a contingency plan!

White Sapphire - you are too organised! The orchids are in fact sparkly ones from Dunelm! I will try and get a better picture, but I like the styalised ones. I tend to think if you're going fake, go realy fake! Plus as we are getting married in March it will be dark fairly early on, so I think they will look beautiful lit up by candlelight. The vases were about £2.50 each reduced in Sainsburys and happen to match the room brilliantly. The green leaves are from hobbycraft, but I will probably get them from dunelm as there is one near and cheap.

Do contact Triangle nurseries - my sister used them last year and raved about them and I have to say they have been brilliant so far. I will let you know how the flowers are, if you want!

Thanks - I will. Just whipped up a couple more batches of chocolate hearts. I think I have enough now, so will be hiding them until we need them, to stop OH and kids eating them. Me too, now I am going to Slimming World!

Tempted to make us a fruit cake whilst I have all the ingredients left for Christmas cakes. I had sworn I wouldn't make my own cake, but I can't help myself!

Bought some tiny mirrored frames for table numbers in Sainsburys today (£1.99), and some canape flags (Which will do for the kids tables) which were reduced to 50p! I think you could say I have been bitten by the MSE bug.:T

The outfits for my older two boys came yesterday too - have a wee peek at the pictures, I just keep adding to them! I think we are going to change the scarves for something plain and I am sorely tempted to get them some braces to go with it too.

My guests have started to receive their invites, which is BRILLIANT. I have also sent out their place cards with their names on so they can write their menu choices on them and return them. Saves me having to copy them all out... Fingers crossed it will work, I have spares if not!

    Another week, another update!

So, I am living in fear that my tables are starting to look a little like an homage to Sainsburys... I have now bought soe fantastic storm lanterns (£2.50) to add a bit of variety to the candles. If any of our guests are fmiliar with the home range at Sainsburys I am SO going to be caught out for using cheepie decorations. I also ordered 2 x large cylindrical vases which I have all good intentions of filling with pebbles fro the beach, sticking some white twigs and fairy lights in and putting at the entrance of the corridor to the area where we are having our wedding. I am, hoever, well known for having plans and not really actioning them.

In other news, I have decided on the following flowers - white hyacinths, white ranuculus, white freesias, lime green berries and lime green ball flowers with some dark green big leaves. I have also decided I AM doing my own, which is really exciting.

Other good things this week - I lost 3.5lbs at Slimming World and whilst I was there I got a message saying I had won the ring I wanted on ebay for £350! Clearly those numbers were good last night. So, soon I shall be the proud recipient of a .70 diamond, 18 carat gold wedding ring! Happy days.

I also had a hair trial yesterday. I am fortunate to have a trainee hairdresser who lives 2 doors away and she is an angel. My top tip is to befriend a trainee. She colours it (£40 for 4 colours which have lasted me 4 colours!!!!) and yesterday I purchased some real hair extensions. So, we had a little go and they are brilliant. Nearer the time we will colour them to the right colour and then no one will know.... Whilst in the shop I also go individual false eye lashes and glue and some false nails, just in case mine decide to snap off!

OH's suit arrived - too big - it appears the diet is working for him too! So this weekend we will be in M and S to change that! Still, at least I still got it for a song.

Right, I think that's the updates done.

Oh wow, that's fab about the ring!!!!!!!! :D:D And well done on the weight loss, I need to take a leaf out of your book and lose weight :o

The flowers sound gorgeous too, very classic but 'springlike', love it.

How much was the suit? xx

He decided on a dinner jacket suit, which came on offer last week. It should have been £159 + postage + tie (He already bought shirt) but with all the discounts I got it delivered for £116. Very chuffed. And he looks blooming gorgeous.

Glad you like the sound of the flowers, I think I have been driving the poor lady at Triangle nurseries INSANE with my indecisiveness. But I feel happy with what I have planned now.

I am over the moon about the rocks - I didn't want an engagment ring as I will only wear one but I did want mama rocks on my wedding ring!

Wow great news about the ring & well done on the weight loss. I'm sure your guests won't notice all the Sainsburys stuff when it's all put together nice:D
