Happy Belated Birthday wishes Keiss and Twelvestops, sorry I didn't get to wish them to you yesterday :bdaycake: :bdaycake:

Keiss - I beleive the bruising is normal (but deff worth getting it checked). My OH had the same procedure last year, well in a diff place and he was really suprised how long it took him to recover so take it easy (he had lots of nasty bruising too btw)

BDINI - had some bulb success yesterday :j my Wilko store has now put out a set of shelves with the clearance stuff full of 75% off bulbs. So I got snowdrops, crocus' and bluebells yesterday for 1.56 :j

Jinty - sorry to hear about work, hope it gets sorted, sounds like you are being taken for granted atm.

Well not a NSD for me yesterday, took a couple of items back but bought some shampoo (to tide me over until my posh stuff arrives) aforementioned bulbs, some of the 22p pasta at Mr T, and some more moistureiser as I'm down to my last bottle. So nothing to extravagent. Hoping to grab a NSD today though. Nothing tickling my fancy on the Black Friday deals so far (though they would be xmas gifts and wouldn't count anyway)

Today is not going to be a NSD after all :( But on the plus side, I didn't get round to doing my @m@zon order last night and one of the items I would've ordered is one of the deals this week, saving me £8.50 :j So I'm going to pop to supermarket on way home tonight to pick up catfood and other bits I was going to do tomorrow. That way tomorrow can be a NSD and I'll still be on track:D

Well after a really poor week last week with my NSD's I'm going to bag today as one as I took in my sandwiches for lunch and am not going out tonight! I'm actually hoping to get NSD's Wed-Fri at least this week as we're coming to the end of the month and I'm at 9 out of target of 15 as yet (not including today if I definitely get it) and I am determined not to fail!!!

  • Ok, I know it's early, but I'm officially claiming today as NSD #9 as I neither want or need anything today, and the rest of the day holds only dog-sitting....and I struggle to spend while fending off a large dog trying to sit on my head.... :D

I debated trying one of those a day or two back - but decided it was safer to stick to something I knew I liked on a first meet, so I had the Gingerbread one instead :)

I'm going to the cinema on Saturday - first time in almost exactly 6 years !!!

Oh Jinty, I agree with the others, you have as many rights as FT staff...stand your ground!!

I was PT at the college where I was made redundant this year,...and I think I ended up with more redundancy money than my boss. They didn't take into account whether we were PT or FT, or our salary at all in fact! It was a case of how old we were and how long we had been with the company. Was secretly a bit pleased as she was forever putting me down as I was "only Part-time"....is this bad of me??? :o

Still feeling rough today. Saw that doc this morning, he took the dressing off, and the operation site is clean and healing very well. However, the bruising, tenderness and raised temperature I have, makes him think I have an infection. S
o have antibiotics to knock back as well as painkillers now. Lets hope they all work asap!

Have managed to nab NSD no 12 today, so some good news :T

Off to have another lie down. See you all tomorrow some time, have a good evening everyone x

WhooHoooo! Got NSD No 6 today! The only times I've been out I've been accompanied by the dogs. It's been the pups first day out for walkies on their leads. It's wonderful to see how well they've grown since we had them. :D :j
