A spend day today, nothing major just niggly bits and pieces. The online grocery shopping is due to arrive later. Going to go out and get some petrol later and have a look for bargains in Mr S's after 9pm. May have a look online for some Xmas pressies later, apparently today is supposed to be the busiest day for online shopping before Christmas. A friend did all her shopping only to have it crash but that was this AM so here's hopeing.

Just going to put tea in - nothing too stressful, Toad-in the Hole I think, followed by lemon merangue pie. Did the flan case yesterday and I've defrosted some lemon curd so all it needs is the topping - easy peasy

NSD 6 today thank you. Still down in the dumps re the money problems and trying hard to work a way to sort things out. I stuck to my train fare in the purse already and downgraded to 1 cup of tea all day at uni instead of 2 coffees. Price for tea was 85p and coffee in £1 or £2 depending on where from. So at least I saved at least £1.15 and this came out of the uni money purse. Am there next week for 3 days and will do this again then that's it until Feb when back again for some more taught days. Then next thing is to work out how to spend as little as possible on the work Christmas do. Thinking about driving as this should save some money.

Tomorrow and Wed will be NSD too and I might need some milk on Thurs as mine will probably have gone off by that date but I'll try and eek it out until Fri if I can

Well, no NSD for me as I had to send a letter by registered next day delivery ( £5.34  ) but that is all I spent today, so I am pleased about that :) I can't believe that my ear has just got better and is pretty much back to normal and now I have a cough and my throat is so sore that for the first hour after I wake up I sound like a man :o Plus I have a really runny nose :o Things can only get better ;)
