Evening all.
Have done my food shopping tonight and have a fair amount to update on also so best get started!
Received my replacement barclaycard today so have BT'd £870 to the Capital one. Annoyingly it says you have to leave at least £100 credit available after the fee, so couldn't BT as much as I wanted to BUT it's still going to work out cheaper overall, and it leaves only £399.19 left on the (interest accruing) big barclaycard.
I've also paid in £76.23 to the holiday fund as planned, but have spent £53.98 out of that account today to get the girls' suitcases in preparation. £53.98 for some suitcases  My god. Glad I've got one already....
Food shopping went ok, but managed to lose my list so was buying blind. But considering that and the fact I had to get bits for the girls' lunches I didn't do too bad in the end.
Aldi £46.99
Asda £34.45
Birthday present/card/wrapping for the girls' friend who's party it is on saturday £10
£25.01 was spent on petrol (Damn that penny!) and also got a car wash which was £3, as the car was in a right state and it desperately needed it!
Because of having an utterly sh*t day, we ended up getting chippy chips for dinner which was £6 out of my budget as well as £3.99 on a work lunch as one of our ladies is leaving this week so we went to the pub for lunch.
Anyway, after updating my bills etc I have £185 spare with which to get potentially 3 new tyres and wheel alignment/tracking. I *think* this should be doable but I want to get a tyre check first as don't want to go buying 3 new tyres if I only need 1/2.... Will try and get that done this weekend and go from there. I emailed 3 companies who do cheap new/part worn tyres and haven't heard back from a single one which is a bit rubbish.
Feeling really sh*te tonight. Looking forward to this week being over as it's been horrendous. Roll on the weekend.
Have updated my sigs I'm fast running out of room and had to lose the mortgage deposit line! Will have to think of a more efficient way of doing my sig.
Edit: Have squidged my sig around a bit to fit it all on!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Afternoon and happy saturday! So glad to see the back of that work. It's just been ridiculous!
Managed to get my tyres done today. Ended up going to kwikfit because of price/guarantee. They were pretty useless in the end and changed the wrong bloody tyre! Despite me asking if they wanted to know which ones I wanted doing, they said no as they'd check them all anyway but then went off and did the wrong ones without even checking with me!! Idiots.
Anyway, They're finally done and I'm £160 lighter. But the new ones I have have a lifetime guarantee with free puncture repair and at least they're done now.
As I knew I was spending less than my budget me and DP ended up having chinese last night as a treat which cost £17.50. I also went to ASDA and bought ME some clothes for the first time in ages  Bought a hoody for dance, some socks and cargo trousers seeing as my jeans have a big hole in them now and my socks are all falling apart lol. Spent £23 all in out of the holiday fund. I had £7.86 spare from the tyre budget so when I got home I moved that straight over to the holiday fund to make up some of the money.
Oh, also the girls had normal dance today which was £8, and another £1 was spent in sweets while waiting for kwikfit to finish faffing about... :wall:
Girls are off to a birthday party this afternoon so won't be spending any more money. Sounds daft but I'm looking forward to having more normal budgets next week, although it's Ash's birthday on Saturday and we're off to JLS so won't have as much spare as normal next week.
Also I'm not paying anything off the cards etc until I know exactly what my childcare fees are going to be as I'm expecting them to be more than my wages will cover due to easter so will probably have to make up some of the money for it. I've already had the holiday club fees for easter, £385  and I've not even had the normal before/after school club fees yet!! _pale_Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
