So why does DP have a sporty car when he doesn't like driving..?

You got wet and windy too? It's blawin' a hoolie here... ;)

I've asked him this before :rotfl:
He bought it when he lived at home and had no real expenditure and could afford to have it really. Now that he's got us and a mortgage and whatnot he's realised it's costing him way too much money and that he needs something more suitable for the kids. He works local to where he lives but in our area you need a car as we're semi rural so without a car he wouldn't be able to get to mine/see friends for example and the transport links are fairly naff unless you're going to the bigger towns/cities.

The weather is horrible here! Could be worse though, rural staffordshire is nothing like scotland et al!

Well no, I'm not querying why he has a car. I'm just wonder why a sports car, as opposed to a big 4x4, or a big Volvo or even a little clio.

Certainly my car is not really for the nervous drivers - at least not the way I drive it... :rotfl:

Where I am is quite sheltered, but it's still bad. I think my hanging house number has just done the loop-the-loop...

My previous house was straight off the moors...

Ah yea fair point! :rotfl: Not a clue. I've never personally understood big engined cars. My biggest engined car was a 1.4 old banger corsa which went about 0-60 in 5 minutes. :rotfl: My current corsa is a 1.2. :)

    I went from a 1.4 to a 2.0. I've been looking at a 3.8.

I have a mid-life crisis to be thinking about you know... ;)
