Confirmed all our pills and potions are stocked, in date and tidily away in their appointed places.

We visited John Lewis's today; Mr LW bought some acrylic cocktail stirrers because we no longer have any (the last one died the death a while back and I've been using metal skewers to stir my Virgin Mary, but it's not the same):D and I resisted the temptation to buy a hip flask to keep my Oramorph in.:rotfl:

Finally managed to find an online description of pelvic floor exercises that I could understand - so those will be incorporated into my Dailies list from today. I assume I still need to do them, even though I've never had children? *confused*

Oh, and I've made an appointment for the blood test the GP recommended :eek::eek:(hoping for evidence to present to the rheumy that taking away my Plaquenil was not such a good idea). It's not til 16th November, but hey ho - it's the first early-early morning appointment they had available, and it has to be when Mr LW can take me (ie to be home before he has to leave for work).

    Afternoon all

Not really working to the list today but the pills and potions cupboard is sorted.

Vacuumed through downstairs after making a sponge and a ginger cake. One load of washing done, hung out until nearly dry then draped round inside to finish off, I'm tired of watching for the rain to start.

Was brave this morning and went to the shopping centre by myself and went in the new huge Tesco supermarket by myself. Haven't been up to the shopping centre on my own for years. It wasn't too bad until the alarms went off because they hadn't taken the security tags off but that was soon sorted. Now I've been I don't need to go again ;) And I've almost finished my Christmas shopping, will do some more wrapping tomorrow.

I feel a bit tired and shaky now but that will wear off.

Brilliant - congrats on everything you've achieved today. Cup of tea will sort the shakes out (quicker if accompanied by a little chocolate) - at least it works for me. :)

OK - not as difficult as I'd thought;;) when I saw the words "floor exercises" I assumed at first that it was going to be take 10 minutes out of the day and sit or lie on the floor for some kind of exercise....:rotfl:D'ohhhh!!:D

Mr LW is currently raking leaves in the back garden, so I'm going to nip out and see if I can be of assistance.:o
