Will be back to report more after DS2's dental visit.

2xwm done, bathroom S&S, Mr T visit done, Birthday stuff delivered,
I had a wasted trip with Mother's old curtains (to dry clean £35) she had wanted to give them away clean but not at that price.
  • Hi everyone. Morning has been hijacked by trip to Oswestry to retrieve poorly SIL from work. Not so poorly that we didn;t have to make a detour via the shops on the way home tho:(

    Off to find my list.

Love the pelvic floor challenge Dusty Hope noone has a child with a swimming lesson today:rotfl:

Nice to see Soappie, Maxtonian, KazM and sundry returners(sorry if I've missed anyone) who've been prompted by FB don;t do it myself.

Greenbee - I would have thought putting wine into a casserole would be fine if you are allowed grapes - the alcohol boils off. You could try adding some red currant jelly to the gravy tho instead(or as well)

Monday the clock have gone back summer is officially over
I know it is sad that summer is gone but we don’t want to keep tripping over flip flops on the kitchen floor to remind us of that. Today gather up all summer footwear, hats and lightweight jackets. Get rid of any that won’t be needed next year. Put the rest away checking that they are clean and shoes are washed, polished and reheeled if necessary – you will thank me for this when we get our first warm day next spring. Replace with gloves, scarves, woolly hats, boots and winter coasts. Check they fit and everybody is kitted out for the cold days which will be here soon.

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs, downstair loo
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Clean windows and all glass, including the tv screen[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean the downstairs loo and basin[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
Clean the mantel or coffee table, re home things that don’t belong here
    Wipe and water plants
    Vacuum or wipe the sofas

    Declutter Mission:

Sort through all the DVDs, games, CDs etc and see which can be rehomed or sold. Check all the right discs are in their cases. Dust the area and replace them all. Get the family to help and try to get input of ideas for presents, ie somebody saying I love this film – is there a new/similar one out?

    Tuesday see the light
In case of power cuts make sure you have candles and matches, torches and batteries stored in an easy to get to place – no good rummaging in the back of a cupboard in the dark! Light a candle and hold it around the doors and windows to see where your insulation is lacking (ie where the flame gets blown) – please take care! If you have lots of candles then why not light one tonight in memory of all those no longer with us for All Souls Day.

Wednesday – Choose a room which never gets much attention
Maybe snug, kids bedroom, spare room, conservatory

    Level 1
[STRIKE]HH putting all the stuff away and rehoming items to other rooms[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    [STRIKE]Hoover or mop the floor[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Deweb the ceilings Halloween is over[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wipe all dusty areas with a damp cloth[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
Catch up on phone calls you should have made
Clean the lights in this room

    Declutter misson:

Sort through any cupboard/drawer in this room and have a good fling.

    Wednesday Water SqueezesWIP

    Wednesday Potions and Pills
Collect together all the suncream, aftersun, insect repellent from bags, window ledges, cars and either store good ones or bin dregs (or check you have enough and pack them for those going on holiday). Check your supplies of medicines, pain relief, decongestants, tissues etc. Check dates on items not used for a while like inhalers. Request repeat prescriptions now if necessary
  • OMG just realised I've got to bath the dog later - my pelvic floor will wonder what's hit it:eek:

Gaaahhhhh, day going blahhhhh, managed to somehow delete my whole ipod library, will have to reconnected the stoopid chuffin desktop at some point to get it all back. I've wiped it all because I stopped manually managing it and its took everything off and there's nowt in my itunes file on the computer.:(

Also managed to lose a purchased app which consists now of three sentences...I haven't paid £2.99 for three blinking sentences.

I have batch cooking to sort, stuff for hubsters birthday pressie to finalise, ebay, forms to fill in and other stuff to sort.

Off for a coffee and then a list writing exercise.

Hi to all the returners, good to see you guys posting again.:T:D
