Wow - I need to make a point of getting on this thread at least once every evening, I've missed so much!
Love and hugs to all who want or/and need them xx
I have loads to catch up on!
Please add me to the challenges - if I don't get chance in the week after work I will do my best to catch up at the weekend when I have chance :)
My dad is visiting this weekend for my nieces birthdays - my sister's daughters, one of their birthdays is on Saturday and the other one is the next day :) We are going ice skating on the Sunday - haven't been for years :)
I plan tonight to have food, get uniforms and lunch boxes, etc ready for tomorrow, catch up with some FLYing, play a game or two of cludo with sons and then treat myself to last night's vampire diaries before having an early night :)
Hubby has started sorting our tip of a bedroom out today while I was in work - think he deserves a gold star :)
Right I'm off to get into pj's so that I can chuck my work trousers into the WM :)
Will catch up with you soon :)
    Jenny x

Nice to see Soappie, Maxtonian, KazM and sundry returners(sorry if I've missed anyone) who've been prompted by FB don;t do it myself.

Thank you Jackie. Nice to be back :D

Didn't manage to post yesterday. Dont know where it went?

I've been up since the crack of dawn. i did 2 x HHI, the cat litter and bathroom. Cleaned the bin too.

Then I went to the Trafford Centre and made a start on the C word.
Then I came home and had a nap (it is my day off :rotfl:)
Then we have just been to the vets with cat number 1 for her annual check up. All is well.
Did I say - we lost cat number 2 a few weeks ago? Very suddenly. She wasn't eating, turns out it was cancer of the abdomen, so we let her go to sleep whilst under anaesthetic for a laparoscpy. Vet said it was kindest.
I'm off out soon. i haven't had any tea, but I'm so hot, I just cant be bothered. i think it's my age
Maybe catch you later, if not tomorrow.
    Enjoy your evening ladies

We visited John Lewis's today; Mr LW bought some acrylic cocktail stirrers because we no longer have any (the last one died the death a while back and I've been using metal skewers to stir my Virgin Mary, but it's not the same):D and I resisted the temptation to buy a hip flask to keep my Oramorph in.:rotfl:

  • did my evil mummy routine tonight. DS1 hates anything with the word soup at the end. tonight he had tattie stew and scoffed more than half of it. now to make all my soups that thick :rotfl:

DS2 is really testing me today. terrible 2s really hitting in and he cant quite manage to be clean in his pants. dry yes but clean no. poo'd his pants twice today and also poo'd in the bath too. trying to think what to do with him re that particular function. stickers lose their interest after 1 and food isnt a good reward for a child who will eat till he throws up and then starts again.

going to paint my nails tonight instead of ironing. well its been a tough day!

A quick in and out (again!).

Have decluttered some seriously rude words at BT today. Came home to find the landline not working and broadband up and down like a !!!!!'s drawers - I shall be lucky if this post posts IYSWIM.

Due to the !!!!!'s drawers nature of broadband link was unable to log fault on line. Also unable to log fault through phone cos landline had no dial tone! Mobile call meant serious charges plus what BT admitted would be a 4 minute message telling me it would be £130 if the engineer came out and found the fault was with my equipment. I refused to listen to more than 30 seconds of that message on my mobile.

So, nipped next door, borrowed one of NN's (she's still doing famously - finally retired from work this April gone by - aged 74 and three quarters!) old analogue phones and tried plugging it in - nope no joy there either. So back to NN's and phone BT using her BT landline - because it's free whereas using a mobile costs! BT admitted there was a fault on the network. But, it may not be fixed until NEXT MONDAY! 3 working days. Not good enough. The air was blue I tell ya - blue!

Haha! Caught a window of drawers up!
