Adamantine - have you got time to paint my nails too, I was going to do them tonight but haven't got the energy!:D

Just walked the dogs and stripes managed to slip her collar when a firework went off. She's not scared of them but she stopped to look at where the noise was coming from and I kept walking! I wouldn't mind but she then just stood there looking daft and wagging herself at me (she can't just wag her tail).

Going to find ten things to put away and then I'm going to play the piano for five minutes to relax. DS has bought some carols home and I fancy trying them.

See you guys in the morning xx

Well have not done much flying as went to work on Monday and DD was then sick that night. So had to take her to my mums while iI went to work Tuesday(was not feeling great myself) Tuesday after DS is sent home from school. Both appear to be fully recovered now so hopefully I can get back on it. Do not have the children this weekend so see what flying and challenges I can manage then.
Can not remember who was asking about my steam mop but I bought a Ewbank steam mop from Argos. Do not think it is best on market but I wanted one that had accessories so I could do my bathroom etc. so I am pleased with it.

They found out, at work, today why a certain person appeared to NEVER do any colour photocopying...

the code they gave her didn't work for photocopying, only printing so, being a problem-solving type she randomly hit 4 digit codes into it until 1 DID work - then used that.

    Guess who ;)

    Tuesday Do it different Day
Most of us are creatures of habit, do things in the same way all of the time. All this autopilot is not good for the grey matter or the soul. So today’s challenge is simple, try to do things a bit differently. If you always clean a room clockwise, then do it anti clockwise, always use the same mug get a different one out. Always hoover the hard floor, try sweeping it. I don’t mind what you do just shake it up a bit.

    Wednesday Water Squeezes
No excuses accepted today ladies. Pelvic Floor exercises please, need I say more? You know how important they are, you know you don’t like doing them but you must. So today everytime you do something related to water (teeth brushing, kettle filling, washing up, drinking, prepping veg the lot) I want you to do a few squeezes.

    Thursday Shaker Day
What do you think about whilst doing your flying? All the other things you need to do? Today I want you to act like a Shaker for just 15 minutes. Whilst doing some of your flying I want you to settle your mind solely to the task in hand. Take pride in what you do and satisfaction from seeing the limescale come of the taps and the shine appear.

    Preparing for Winter Challenges

    Monday

DD needs new wellies, more tights
DS2 needs boots, gloves and a hat that is cool enough to wear:cool:
Me needs 1 pair brown & 1 pair black boots and new wellies and a hat.

    Tuesday see the light
    [STRIKE]
In case of power cuts make sure you have candles and matches, torches and batteries stored in an easy to get to place – no good rummaging in the back of a cupboard in the dark! Light a candle and hold it around the doors and windows to see where your insulation is lacking (ie where the flame gets blown) – please take care! If you have lots of candles then why not light one tonight in memory of all those no longer with us for All Souls Day.
    [/STRIKE]
    Wednesday Potions and Pills
[STRIKE]Collect together all the suncream, aftersun, insect repellent from bags, window ledges, cars and either store good ones or bin dregs (or check you have enough and pack them for those going on holiday). Check your supplies of medicines, pain relief, decongestants, tissues etc. Check dates on items not used for a while like inhalers[/STRIKE]. Request repeat prescriptions now if necessary. will do this in the morning

    Thursday Car Prep
    [STRIKE]
Get your car ready for winter so that if you should get caught in the snow or break down you are prepared. Here is a great guide for what you could do.
No car? Give your freezer a good sort; do you have space for emergency bread and milk supplies. Are you low on anything? Could the freezer do with defrosting?
    [/STRIKE] freezer done
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged
