Tuesday Do it different Day
Most of us are creatures of habit, do things in the same way all of the time. All this autopilot is not good for the grey matter or the soul. So today’s challenge is simple, try to do things a bit differently. If you always clean a room clockwise, then do it anti clockwise, always use the same mug get a different one out. Always hoover the hard floor, try sweeping it. I don’t mind what you do just shake it up a bit.
Preparing for Winter Challenges:snow_grin
Tuesday see the light
In case of power cuts make sure you have candles and matches, torches and batteries stored in an easy to get to place – no good rummaging in the back of a cupboard in the dark! Light a candle and hold it around the doors and windows to see where your insulation is lacking (ie where the flame gets blown) – please take care! If you have lots of candles then why not light one tonight in memory of all those no longer with us for All Souls Day.

Morning everyone
I am coming out of my enforced lurkdom after being ill for over 4 weeks
Unfortunately I am still no better, this darn virus doesn't want to shift itself and we are in our 5th week now. Dr reakons it could be 8 weeks before it finally shifts, although he did warn me that because of the ME it could take a bit longer as this means I can take a long time to get over infections
I am going through cold and flu treatment like I don't know, but it is what the Dr said to take as well as cough medicine for a chesty cough. If it hasn't cleared by Christmas I think I will camp out on the surgery doorstep and plead help!!!! Funnily enough I had flu about this time last year.. Wonder if I am allergic to winter
Dusty or other members of FLC can you put me down for the preparing for winter challenge and personal challenge, if it's not too late to start midweek. Thanks hon xxx
I notice there have been changes - thank you to Piggers and co for keeping us all on the straight and narrow, and for making us all knuckle down. I for one can say my house has certainly improved since I have been doing Piggers lists.
And welcome to the new FLC - please don't be as harsh as Piggers has been ...LOL. *ducks flying mule*
Ok on with the lists, unfortunately I can really only do one thing every hour or so before I get totally exhausted. I am also starting from Wednesday list so that I don't get too overwhelmed.

Monday the clock have gone back summer is officially over
I know it is sad that summer is gone but we don’t want to keep tripping over flip flops on the kitchen floor to remind us of that. Today gather up all summer footwear, hats and lightweight jackets. Get rid of any that won’t be needed next year. Put the rest away checking that they are clean and shoes are washed, polished and reheeled if necessary – you will thank me for this when we get our first warm day next spring. Replace with gloves, scarves, woolly hats, boots and winter coasts. Check they fit and everybody is kitted out for the cold days which will be here soon.
Tuesday see the light
In case of power cuts make sure you have candles and matches, torches and batteries stored in an easy to get to place – no good rummaging in the back of a cupboard in the dark! Collect together all the suncream, aftersun, insect repellent from bags, window ledges, cars and either store good ones or bin dregs (or check you have enough and pack them for those going on holiday).
