Hex/Kaz - we call fingerless gloves 'Sarah Ravens' my DH detests them especially when I say I want you pretend you are SR's husband and hold this guttering full of seedlings at an angle for me to transplant them.

Stars etc will be done at lunchtime so get to it challenge takers - I'm going to do Thursday's list as that is an upstairs one!

Another bit of unexpected decluttering today :)

    My cat hates me.

She is allergic to flea spit and the stoopid one brought a couple home with him about 5 days ago. The Frontline was still working, as the ones on him were already nearly dead when he came in the door, but the stress bunny has been chomping on herself and couldn't have any more flea treatments.

She moved her leg this morning and I spotted a red raw patch on her belly.

She's just had a bath. Proper immersion plus shower. Almost a Baptism, fact.

Results: One sad looking flea (not moving), no flea dirt (so it hasn't been there long).

and an absolutely pathetic looking creature who is glowering at me from across the room beside the radiator as she rearranges her tail fluff sitting on a sheepskin.

ETA: Cat evils removed from shower room floor before she got bathed, so that's another cleaning thing and probably just desserts for the poor cat, as I would put money on her being the culprit.

Have now managed to snap the broom. Still not sure how, but it was about £3 from Mr S about 6 years ago, so hasn't done too badly.

So kitchen floor will be vacuumed when Minion arises from her pit (Insect day today) and then it's off out to get new broom.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Monday Trick or Treat DD on board x

    Tuesday Do it different Day
Most of us are creatures of habit, do things in the same way all of the time. All this autopilot is not good for the grey matter or the soul. So today’s challenge is simple, try to do things a bit differently. If you always clean a room clockwise, then do it anti clockwise, always use the same mug get a different one out. Always hoover the hard floor, try sweeping it. I don’t mind what you do just shake it up a bit.

    Preparing for Winter Challenges:snow_grin

Monday the clock have gone back summer is officially over
    Sorted x

    Tuesday see the light
In case of power cuts make sure you have candles and matches, torches and batteries stored in an easy to get to place – no good rummaging in the back of a cupboard in the dark! Light a candle and hold it around the doors and windows to see where your insulation is lacking (ie where the flame gets blown) – please take care! If you have lots of candles then why not light one tonight in memory of all those no longer with us for All Souls Day.

While the sofa and stairs were cleared, I hoovered them too. Now to make that cuppa and get on with the ironing..............xx

ETA....Had my regular fight with the ironing board cover and made a cuppa................let's go Pigpen........xx

My HHC ended up being a little longer.
    I fed the cats.
I hunted down some dark washing so WM is on, as is the DW. I've bagged up all the DD's crap from around the front room, they can put that away when they get home from school.
I've made a big pile of paperwork that needs filing. I'm going to have a coffee and start on that next
