Of course you can ask newbie questions :D i still ask questions!!

time credits is a phrase coined by slowdown i believe (??) think i'm right in saying its basically about using time wisely and efficiently - taking 5 mins when waiting for someone in the car to meditate or maybe plan something out rather than just sitting waiting - that sort of thing :)

and swagbucks is a site that i seem to have introduced to many on here LOL! its my fav site for earning on - will send you info via PM as not allowed to post links ;)

  • My positive steps today so far:
    - I started to eat a box of Ready Brek (out-of-date by 2 years) for breakfast to use up some old food.
    - Ate a Sainsburys day-old noodle ready meal for lunch (yuck - it was horrid and sludgy - no more for me!)
    - Deleted some email subscriptions that have come through this week offering me discounts on everything under the sun (and I didn't look at the emails/sites first!)
    - Transferred my instant savings accounts to other accounts with better interest rates ( albeit by 0.8% gross!)
    - Spent ages finding the cheapest guinea pig food and then bought some in bulk (don't want to get stuck if there IS snow...)
    - Worked out a sort of budget for when I try to save 3K in 2012 (I say 'sort of' because I don't have enough surplus cash to save that amount on top of what else I save in a year)
    - Created a spreadsheet to log my 3K Challenge savings
    - Checked my 'selling' eBay items

Later I plan to do some paperwork, get some laundry done and put away clean clothes.
    Isn't life exciting!?

  • :jHi all,

I have a few positive today.
    1. I counted all the money donate from the children at school today. £165 so far and still a bit to come in.
    2. I donated £15 to Children in need. It is a tough watch but makes me realise how luck I am.
    3. Very grateful today for my healthy girls as there are so many in the world worse of than me.
    4. Had a very comfy days in my pyjamas. Must have looked very odd to all at work however it was probably the most chilled day for a while.
    5. Had a good walk across the fields with the dogs using up some times credits.
Would like to wish you all a great weekend.

DH just means stuff that I do for my hubby. gotta keep the man happy, lol ;)

MPC = multiple profit centre. The term is from a book I read ages ago called Making a Living Without a Job. Basically an MPC is an income source, so my MPCs may be surveys, my websites, competitions, cashback sites, GPT ("get paid to") sites (eg. Maximiles, Swagbucks), and so on. The idea is that some MPCs you can get set up, then they will generate income without too much further effort. Like setting up a website, for example.

  • Thanks for the Swagbucks info Fairy, I have used your referral link. :) Do they post rewards to the UK then?

    My five positive things today:

    1. Made a PAD
    2. Exercised (20 min run/walk combo followed by strength exercises)
    3. Had a great night at work
    4. Joined Swagbucks!
    5. Tidied the house for 30 mins.

Tomorrow is a busy day but I'm still hoping to try and fit five things in. I like this challenge! You are all very inspiring.
