I keep meaning to post over here on this thread Fairy, so will try and remember as it's a nice little motivator.
Hopefully today my positive steps will be:
1. Wrap all Ebay items that sold yesterday - 13 parcels altogether. Oooh, 12 actually as 1 person bought 2 things!
2. Post all Ebay items!! Might leave this till near the end of the day so that OH can pick me up from the Post Office on the way home from work. Save me a waddle home as well!
[STRIKE]3. Get all the washing up done!![/STRIKE] Pleased this is out the way, as it was mainly the awkward bits and pieces that get left when I do the plates and easy stuff!
4. Pack the rest of the ornaments from the lounge in preparation for moving house.
[STRIKE]5. Enter 5 purchases on Consumer Pulse[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]6. Clear inbox of all Toluna surveys (I'm on a bit of a mission with these at the moment!)[/STRIKE] Qualified for 2 which will be an extra 6000 or so points!
[STRIKE]7. Check OnePoll[/STRIKE] Done, another 20p closer to £40! Did OHs too, but only qualified for a prize draw one
8. Get all paperwork together from my Girl Guides to get the accounts up to date
9. List 5 more items on Ebay
10. Finally get around to joining Swagbucks! (Thank you for the message last week Fairy! :A )Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Haven't posted here in a few days, but have been doing the usual and then some, just not writing it all down.
Doing well on Swagbucks; made my minimum target of 121 SBs on all but one day (and was only under by 3 SBs on that day):
18th - 125 SBs
19th - 164 SBs
20th - 118 SBs
21st - 130 SBs
Have now got in the habit of making DH a nice lunch everyday.
Will get back into making and posting my lists, as it's a good motivator for me.
Well done on your positive steps, everyone! :jR.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was. :sad:0 -
I'm not in the challenge, but well done to everyone so far!
My big tip is tidying/cleaning the house. I find if my house is tidy, my head is tidy too - this normally means my productivity snowballs and I get loads done, and cook proper but cheaper food! Win-win.
Good luck everyone!0 -
Hi All
I have a few questions please. What are SWAGGERS, PAD, JPJ? I have tried to work it out but don't have a clue.
I have a few positives for today.
I have put all of my wares on ebay.
I filled out some more surveys and earned a few more pennies,
My head is clearer after dealing with some personal issues.
My D1 has got her interview date for Huddersfield Uni.
Im cooking a lovely roast chicken dinner
Im going to my Zumba class later.
That's not bad with all the c--p that has been going on recently.
This just makes you realise that if you can mentally deal with issues, lock them in a box in your mind and file them away, then you can deal so much better with all the other stuff. This may sound like total nonsense to you but it works for me.
Hope you are all ok and finding your own positives each day.
Take care Shazzybe0 -
Hi guys, just checking in to read all the posts and positive things you have been up to. I haven't posted in a couplve days so thats a bit of a negative but i have lots of positives to announce but will have to do it in the morning as I need to go to bed. Shazzybe i think swaggers are swagbucks points from the website, but I would double check cuz I'm not totally sure, PAD is payment a day I believe which is where you make small payments towards your debts everyday (it is also a thread on the dfw forum) i am not sure about JPJ, would love to know tho

Did somebody flick my energy/motivation switch when I wasn't looking?
I have been so tired and fed up for the past week I could not bring myself to think of anything to write. However I am making the effort this morning as Im a little worried I will slide into some hideous hole and sit in the bottom of it for a long time. Not good!
Positives
saw my beautiful daughter on Friday/Saturday home from uni for the first time since Oct 1st. Lovely.
managed to get through the first part of the week without quitting my job which is very hard work at the moment
made a smashing stew with leftovers for the freezer
arranged a meeting with a lovely friend for Saturday morning at the garden centre to discuss our vegetable patches and wander round the Christmas department
Well thats about it for now.
Good luck everyone else
