Hi everyone
Not in good mood, things not good at work again, just as I thought they were looking up. Hey ho.
Anyway, been very naughty and spendy this week - my friend called on Weds when I had a day's leave (she works 2 days a week as at home looking after 22 month old) and we went out for lunch because... had those brilliant vouchers for Pizza Hut - £5 each for any pizza plus unlimited salad bar plus kids ate free!!! So we had a glass of wine each as well for £3.15. Not bad really - my pizza should have been £9.75!
Sun 30 Oct: NSD
Mon 31 Oct: Various £27.25
Tue 1 Nov: Various £13.63
Wed 2 Nov: Pizza Hut lunch £8.15
Thu 3 Nov: Cigs £6.45
Fri 4 Nov: Cigs £6.45 and flapjack £1.20
Total so far £63.13/£40
Didn't have Starbucks today as my car is dying a slow and painful death I think and I'm terrified to drive more than I need to (bear in mind work is 21 ish mile drive each way...) It's booked in at the garage on Monday and I'm going to have to owe mum and dad whatever it costs. Quite gutted as I was hoping it would hang on till Jan as by then I'll have £350 saved in case of major issue.
Don't want more debt as right now it's actually looking as though it might be December that I'm debt free rather than Jan...just depends on what they say on balances when I ring at the end of this month when CCCS pay them - some of the ones who were charging me interest now don't seem to be, bizarrely! Either way Jan will be a very small payment, so 1st Dec is my last big one of £476 (if that much, depending...)

Monday £367/£380
Tuesday NSD
Wednesday NSD + £5 paid in from H*lifax R*ward so now at £362/£380
Thursday £19.99 for an iPad cover to protect the beloved one so that takes me over  at £382/£380, however saved £1.25 by using a 5p off a litre coupon for petrol (not counting the fuel as it's out of it's own budget) and £3 earned from a p*nec*ne survey which has been paid today so now at £377.75/£380 ~ it's a tight one, must not spend anymore
iPad is lovely pointy ~ I'm not convinced that it would replace a laptop/desktop completely but for email, browsing, photo's, books, music, apps etc it's awesome. How's the 4s?

£85 budget this week
Sunday - (carboot) - books x 4 £1, glasses x 4 £2.50, woollen mittens £3, pumpkin £1- total £7.50
Monday - NSD
Tuesday = NSD
Wednesday = £1.26 coffees at work (actually that's a lie, have done some online Christmas shopping £12.85 + £18.97 but have a budget for this. Will see how my week goes and decide whether or not to count it) £30 diesel £6 petrol
Thursday - £1.05 pop and crisps at work
Fri - £3.25 'Friday sandwich'
Sat - NSD
Total £49.06 (With Christmas presents) or £80.88 (without)
I think I will declare [STRIKE]£80.88 [/STRIKE]£49.06 BUT I haven't done my weekly grocery shop yet so next week will be a big challenge. Luckily we don't need much so I think two grocery shops on next week's budget of £89 (£85 + £4 left from this week) is just about doable.
But this is £30 less I need to spend from Christmas budget :jif I do it so fingers crossed.
Edit - will not be counting Christmas spends because did big shop yesterday and needed more than I thoughtDebt £26k 18/10/140 -
Oh dear, I've had such a spendy week! After the day from hell yesterday I went to the pub with my friend who experienced it too, and we ended up having a few drinks to commiserate...
