  • LC you are too organised I have only bought one present and I thought I was doing well.

Saorsie how the ipad? I want one but have been holding off for a while as I just got a 4S.

I have been to the theatre this evening which was quite good and short so I am back at a decent time. So spends today were:
    • £2 on biscuits for myself and work colleagues
    • £1 on card at work for crisps
    • £16 on dinner and drinks
    • £4 on coffee for myself and friend at theatre
    Total £23

Total for the week £44 / £50 going to be tight

75p on a bus, 75p on a chocolate bar (so I could pick up a nectar card) & £20 on dinner, whoops :(

    This now leaves me at:

    Sunday: £21.50 (ouch!)
    Monday: £1.65
    Tuesday: £2.04
    Wednesday: £21.50

    Current total: £46.69

Hmm... Don't think I'm going to hit my budget, but it's my first week of trying to budget / limit my spending. Without trying this, I'd probably be more around £100 at the moment!
Weekly spend challenge: w/c 30th oct:
    £46.69 / £50

    Morning all

Budget took a hit yesterday. I went to Mr T for my bits and bobs £5.98 which wasn't bad and then my Mum rang on my way home from work and asked me to go to shop for her £9 spent. I can't ask for the money as she's a pensioner and over the years i've had more off her :o so £14.98 spent yesterday:eek:

Swimming tonight with 2 nephews and my niece. Fun but more money.

Morning all! Having an excellent week so far - two NSDs and just £2.10 on diet coke, apple and banana at work on Tuesday. Another NSD today and coffee on a long drive tomorrow and I should be well within budget!

Got to work late today (got a meeting til 8pm  ) but at least that means I get a free dinner :T.
