Oh dear Emma:D.
Still nothing here:rotfl:0 -
My email from them didn’t quote about a clause or anything, just this:
Thank you for your email.
Regrettably we have not yet concluded our investigations and are therefore not in a position to provide you with our final response.
At this stage, I am unable to provide an expected date for resolution.
As soon as we've completed our investigations, we will be in touch. In the meantime, you can refer to the Financial Ombudsman Service if you do not wish to wait any longer0 -
That's not a knockback e-mail, and to be honest I don't see how you could think that it was?0

Newcook I had exactly the same email as it was my 8 week milestone today. It kind of fills me with hope that they are still investigating however there is a getout clause "Im unable to provide an expected date for resolution"...
Am I reading into this as they dont want to give off any more information at this stage and they dont know when they will be able to give a date. Surely, if they are investigating then they would be able to say when they will contact me again. I'm annoyed that if it wasnt for sending an email reminding them of the fact its now been 8 weeks since I sent my complaint I would be none the wiser (and they probably would have thought I couldnt be bothered). I like most of us on here want what is rightfully owed!
Best of luck to everyone still in pursuit.0 -

They took ten weeks to send me the standard rejection letter and a copy of the original T&C's.
I really would not hold out much hope of getting anything else from them though I would be delighted to be proved wrong with regards to the open complaints.
Good luck to all.
PS - Looks like they have managed to misplace/mishandle my Subject Access Request which I am currently chasing up. They managed to cash the accompanying cheque within two days though, obviously! It's one thing be ripped off by slick financial operators but falling foul of these clowns has become somewhat of an embarrassment. Oh well, more fuel for the FOS fire!0 -
Strange that for some people they are still investigating and Santy "have not concluded their investigations" and yet others have a knock-back letter. Still appears Stanty haven't yet got a grip on what their master plan actually is !
On a seperate complaint Santy also managed to cash my £10 SAR cheque within days but 4 weeks on have received nothing.
Emails to Santy now don't even get a reply.0 -

I suspect that they are merely waiting for the details to be returned from the Cahoot division to explain the delay.
SAR wise; I'm on day 42.
The mandatory response being of course 40 days.
However I emailed the following address yesterday on another matter and to be fair I was furnished with a reply within a couple of hours:

I've been informed that my [STRIKE]rejection[/STRIKE] resolution letter was sent out over the weekend.
That will be nice to go home to.:j0 -

So unless Santy have changed their position it unfortunately looks like it's off to the FOS for you then Cell.
Good Luck
If anyone has had any payout from Santy it would be good to hear from you as all we appear to be getting now is "Standard" reject letters.0 -

I have the claim registered and the forms pre-filled in already. All I was waiting for was the actual letter.
The only people who have got anything other than rejection letters for well over a month are those who got additional, unsolicited, payments from the earlier batch.
Quite how that works I really don't know.0
