Nah chuck. If you'd hit a nerve I'd be insanely challenging you to a game of online chess whilst bombarding you with a list of academic achievements. :rotfl:chucknorris wrote: »
Subject of your masters degree
Profession that you are chartered in
Is to remain a secret?
ha ha. Take a wild guess einstein.chucknorris wrote: »
Whatever they were in wasn't the point anyway geneer! It's what you do with them and where they take you what really matters. That's the area of your failure though isn't it?

It remains as a site which bans anyone with a different view to themselves.
It also remains a site populated by geeks who live with mummy - and who wouldn't have the courage to say what they say in the real world, to real people, on a real street ..... they are dispicable.
But, it is a private site as I understand and the owner has every right to only allow those with the same agenda as him.
Codswallop.... I have been in and out for there for some opinions for the last 6 or 7 years. I am in my mid 50's and own a couple of properties mortgage free. I also dabble in equities and have made a few bob gauging some of the market opinions over there.
Yes there are a few posters over there that think the World owes them cheaper housing but the sentiment you can apply to any in depth discussion site including this one. It is of course important to maintain a balance and not allow posters who do not 'share your point of view' to wind you up. Everyone is of course entitled to a point of view no matter how extreme or from which angle of any debate.
For the record I would like to see cheaper property as I have children and fear for them ever being able to afford something although we will be there to assist them when the time comes.
What worries me more though is the dire economic situation in this Country and what jobs are going to exist for our young people going forward. I have seen some huge changes in the employment demographic in this Country in my lifetime from manufacturing to service industry, it is becoming apparent these so called service industries are not going to be able to provide fullsome employment at the same quality as what we have been used too.0 -
HPC down again! Ha, ha, didn't think I would outlast them with any consistency. On another note the joke of a site Creditcrunch is claiming 250k hits a month when its likely to get less than 100 hits a day.
Edit: Okay Hamish, I see you over there now trying to up their ratings! Creditcrunch must be ruing the day he killed the golden goose (or geese).0 -

I'm surprised it's taken you so long to realise..... It's like being an actor in the movie "One flew over the cuckoo's nest".....0 -
ha ha. Take a wild guess einstein.
It's interesting why you are so very reluctant to say to what your masters subject was and what you are chartered in (and also what your profession is, if different)? There is an issue here isn't there?
Were you made redundant and now feel that you are working at a lower professional level than where you feel you should be in life? There's no shame in picking up the pieces and starting again, some of my previous colleagues had to do this when they were made redundant in the early 90's.
It seems quite apparent to me that you are a deeply unhappy person, not so much because of the bickering you do on this site but because that's all you do. Most posters (me included) do get drawn into arguments but usually that is only one part of their posting history. There will also be humour, advice given, advice taken and just demonstrating empathy with fellow posters. However it strikes me that you spend an awful lot of your time just purely bickering with other posters. Especially when you consider that you also apparently post on other sites related to housing too, I don't apart from the odd posting on a chess or dog forum (much less than here). That all adds up to quite a lot of time that you spend arguing with people that you don’t actually know via the internet.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Its not really a secret Chuck. Its been discussed before.
I just think its quite amusing that you can't break the Davinci Code like secret of what Geneer might do for a living.
BTW What was it you do again?chucknorris wrote: »Were you made redundant and now feel that you are working at a lower professional level than where you feel you should be in life? Sorry to disappoint Chuck. But no.chucknorris wrote: »Most posters (me included) do get drawn into arguments but usually that is only one part of their posting history. More than a bit of pot and kettle going on Chuck.
The forums certainly a bit addictive, and probably not all that healthy.
But hey I certainly don’t take it seriously enough to be compelled to start randomly trotting out my qualifications and challenging people to online games of chess just because I’m losing an argument with people I don’t actually know on the internet.

A wild stab in the dark, are you an engineer? Not especially interested mind, but I quite like word games!0
