No update yet (lots of eBay auctions ended this weekend but I have a little "selling stuff for other people" sideline to need to sit and work out my profit too) but I just logged into Toluna, I went through a phase of using it daily...a massive 225 points! Will I EVER cash out?

  • Hello everyone!!

Sounds like some of us have had a good productive weekend! :D

My ebaying seems to have gone well and even managed to get a good price for the scalectric :D Also sold a swimming costume which i honestly never thought would sell as its 2nd hand but it sold for £8.50 :D:D:D Will work out total from ebay tonight and update my sig later. Ohh...also forgot to add, found a book at work last month so i put it in the "lost and found" and no one came back for it. Boss said i could have it (she knows i ebay, lol) and that sold for a massive £20.50!!! So so happy... Let hope they pay me soon! Lol! :D

Just been to Mr T's to pick up for breadbuns and noticed the 49p Kellogs variety packs so grabbed 6 boxes as i would have needed some at the weekend. I'd normally just buy a big box as i think £1.99 is a rip off for those mini packs but thought 49p was a bargain. It will keep the kids happy too... Anyway, went to the till and got another £6 off £40 spend so that will come in handy at the weekend.

I'm sat in the house at the minute fully clothed with my dressing gown on. Before i started coming on here i would have had the heating on full blast but there is only me in the house so whats the point in wasting gas just for me when my dressing gown keeps me warm. Ohhh look at me getting all mse!! Lol :D I'll have to put the heating on for a little bit once the kids come home though because it is really cold here today!

Well, must dash.... My house is a tip and i only have an hour to tidy before the kids come in and i go to work :-( Will be back tonight with my figures so far :-)

Have a nice day everyone! :D

Not sure if this has been mentioned before for paperbacks but you can trade some in on Amazon here http://www.amazon.co.uk/b?ie=UTF8&node=696229031

Looks like 25p average per book but it is also free to send them in so reasonable if you are like me and just tend to charity shop them :)

Received £2 from Ebay today but still waiting for payment of one item. Have claimed £10 from shop and scan and £3 from my survey but will wait until I actually receive the payment before adding.

Adding another 19.49 profit from Ebay sales (deducted paypal fee, ebay fee and postage and packaging costs). 3 people are yet to pay for their items, so I will add them later when I actually get the money.

I am absolutely amazed what some of my sons aged 2 - 3 clothes have sold for! I had a rain suit / waterproof thing that had a stain on it that I nearly threw out to be honest. Thought I would photograph it and describe in full anyway expecting to get a couple of pounds and it went for 10.00. A pair of next jeans with a jumper with a slight stain on the front went for 6.00.

Hope everyone had a good day. Can't believe I had to defrost my car this morning!! Just bought some de-icer and a scraper in Aldi. I suppose I had better come to terms with the fact that winter is upon us!!

Just saved £40 on a new food processor by using Clubcard Double-Up vouchers :j
Edit: Also found 40p lurking in my room, in pennies. Every little helps!

Edit again: Woah...that means I have £149.81 already...must double-check that as that sounds a bit too good to be true...!

  • I joined Quidco a couple of weeks ago, and today saw a LoveFilm offer. It says if you sign up to and complete a free 2 week trial, you get £18 cashback. I think theres some terms that if you don't cancel afterwards you are signed up and billed etc but I will be cancelling it once 2 weeks is up. I think that you need to have at least 1 film delivered and add a certain amount to your list (that you want to see). I've done all this today and the £18 is being tracked in my Quidco account :)
