  • A glourious £8.41 transfered into my savings from my cashcard only account! It would have only sat there for a month until more funds were put in that account - so I'm going to say its earned because it would have done nothing in that account!

Hi everyone, Really wanted to join this but been mad busy this last week! Any chance i can still join? And can we count monies saved that otherwise would have been spent? IE, Dog food is usually £15 but was on sale for £10 (saving you £5 you would have spent otherwise?)

Im aiming for £7 a day Which is £210 this month!

Ive already got £65 saved from previous month im going to add.
So far ive made £29.85 on Ebay sales (awaiting another payment for £2.59)
Saved £3.50 on a Savers card for soft play my kids go to.

    Totalling £98.35/£210

Just relisting some things on Ebay and cancelled my 3G internet on the Ipad. Not often it leaves the house so just use WIFI.

Swapped car this month, it saving us £5 a month on insurance/payments which isnt massive but the petrol will be a huge difference (going from a 1.8 sport petrol to a 1.0). And the tax has been reduced from £215 a year to £20 :T

Hmmm will have a think what else we can save on, any ideas welcome, we are a family of four with a dog (kids are nearly 3 and nearly 1), we have 2 cars which are essential (both Aygo's so Economical), use cloth nappies on youngest since birth :)

    Hi,

    Quick update .

    Road kill 6p.
    Car boot 32.91

Onepoll seems to have died a death for me now that I'm only £ 1.55 away from cashing out !!!
My Ebay re-listings so far have been a total disaster.I've 6 listings on the go with only 3 watchers on 1 item which happened before and no sales ! :(

I've a flea market booked and planned for for next week and will be choosing my items carefully as not as much room as at the carboot but will be nice and warm now the weather's freezing. Don't have to get up as early too !

I've got the odd listing on Amazon and will be doing a few more Ebay listings . I'm hoping for another free listing on Ebay this weekend and time permitting I may list some items to start on Sunday after the flea market on stuff I've taken there and not sold. It may seem a waste of time but I can I think delete the items that may've sold.

Stick at it everyone and good luck.

Hey, just thought I'd better tell people it is worth chasing Quidco. I had an outstanding payment waiting for confirmation, and chased it because of this thread :p

Somehow Quidco found my money and it should come to me in the next payment run :D
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

  • Productive weekend

Managed to sqeeze out £8 from our wedding fund pot from last year as the coins were stuck so I never bothered.. Got very excited ;o)

Spent all day Ebaying yesterday, I convinced my hubby to put his old mobile on there instead of sending it to one of these recycling places.. Someone brought it straight away and for £30 more than he would of got!

Saved £6 today on parking as I got my hubby to drop me off, and fingers crossed he will get a extra of overtime as he was at work at 7.30 from taking me.. he he

    So overall £8 + £68 + £6 (excludes hubbys over time)

Even hubby is getting very envolved now... lol
    :dance:My third challenge.. May £10 a day
