    Just popped in.

Glad Poppy dog is OK my doggie had a similiar op several years ago and all was well, but its such a worry they are your doggy children and loved just the same.

JackeO Glad you are OK now, must have been frightening for you and all around you, let everyone run around after you this weekend.

Over the weekend I will be working the early shift, so I'm always worn out and in bed early, going up there in a mo. Not done much today except work and have a snooze when I got in, did a bit of paperwork and now off to bed!

    Evening all,

JackieO....please take it easy, that was a frightening experience and your body will need time to recover.

Got some clothes line dried to-day so pleased about that.

Hugs to all who are feeling below par.

Had another tooth out this morning and look decidedly 'gummy' as I now only have 7 teeth on bottom! Had better look after them, although I apparently have some gum disease thing that is making them loosen.

    JackieG....enjoy your day with OH.

Camelot....had that problem last week, starvation seemed to be the only thing that helped.

Heat on here to-night, as wind was from the wrong direction or something similar, living room fire was smoking a lot, not warm enough here to have no heat on.

My new printer was installed by my Aussie cousin but he's gone now and I can't get the b***dy thing to work....my fault no doubt, will get DS 2 or 3 to have a look to-morrow.

Thunder went missing about 3 weeks ago, had decided we were catless, he strolled in yesterday afternoon as if he had never been away, he was certainly not starving while gone as he has put on weight...wanted to wring his neck as I missed him. Have decided that Sile has found a new home and will not be back....but who knows?

Molly, hope that Poppy dog is back to herself soon.

Really need to make a decision about Christmas.....we have been invited to DS1 in W Cork, but if we go will not see my grandsons on Christmas day, there is also the problem of the dogs. OH is all for going away but something is stopping me saying yes....just an old stuck in the mud I suppose.

Had a little snooze this afternoon so should get on with the knitting, seem to have done very little lately and there are only 8 weeks!

Hugs and spoons to all in need or want

  • JackieO ... Take care of yourself and rest over the weekend (((((Hugs)))))

JC...... What an awful thing, such sad news.

Well we went to Asda, got there at 3pm and it was heaving with kids running everywhere, and the staff were surly and rude - I will never go there on a Friday again  it was way too stressful. DH was fuming and phoned the manager to complain about the staff attitude in there.

I have just put some fruit in brandy so I can make my Christmas cake tomorrow, the kitchen smells lovely :D
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
