    Morning all,

Day off today :j was still awake before 6 though, I have been laying in bed with a cuppa reading my book :D

Wm is on the first of three loads, although I think it may just have statred to rain, so it looks like one will be on the airer, and the other two will be washed today, and hopefully hung out tomorrow.

Meatballs with sauce and pasta tonight, this seems to have become a firm favourite with us on a friday night, nice and easy to do, and not much washing up.

Need to hoover through whole house, and give bathroom a good clean, must walk the dog over the field, then go and see dad, and then do nothing but maybe watch a film with dd this afternoon :T, still feel slightly ropey, but not too bad.

Sending huge good luck vibes to Poppy dog, hope all goes well xx

Jackie G enjoy having hubby home ;)

    Have good days all xx
  • Good morning everyone.
Molly, i hope your dog gets on ok. I think most of the time my dog is the only one in the house who is always pleased to see me :D.
I don't think the weather seems to know what it wants to do here at the moment. I'll give it a bit longer as to whether i hang my washing out or put it on the airer.
Dinner tonight will probably be loin chops, potatoes and salad. Usual housework for me.
Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

    Morning all,

a surprisingly sunny day here, was so foggy this morning - could hardly see on the drive into work!

Finish work about 2pm today (yay!!) then need to pick up some paper plates for a christmas fair (only 3 weeks away, how did that happen??) and nip to aldi for some flour.

OH is supposed to be out tonight so was planning a nice quiet night of a long bath and some baking. He's now saying he doesn't feel well and is thinking he might not go so looks like I'll be dealing with man-flu instead tonight... there goes my quiet night.

OS-wise, have brought lunch from home so I don't get tempted when I pop into town later, and will be making some HM biscuits this evening for next week.

Right, best get on with some work. Hugs to all those that need them, am sending some healing doggy-vibes and wishing you all the best.

Morning and hugs to all. Been up since 5am as DH had to set off to work early, housework is all done so fingers crossed for a lie-in tomorrow. Popping into town at lunchtime whilst he's over in Leeds to pick up some Christmas pressies for him. Hope you all have a productive day xxx

second day off today:j off out for coffee with my friend - she's old enough to be my mum really but we get on so well and she has a wicked sense of humor:D she's great!

Back to work tomorrow - then its 6 out of 7 days this week so very tiring plus there's a flu bug going round so we're short staffed.

OS - house tidy, WM is on. Making some leek and potato soup later for lunch.

    have a great day all

    Good morning,

I've been shattered all week, but feeling a bit more positive today. When we start heading towards winter, the house elf starts waking at 5am. My troubles go in the opposite direction and I have trouble sleeping before 11pm, so it doesn't make for a good night's sleep. At least I'm hoping that is what is causing it. In the 2 years since dh died, not one person out of either of our families has ever offered to have the house elf for a while to give me a break. Thank goodness for my friends who will at least have him round to play for a couple of hours here and there. His best friend was here for lunch and dinner yesterday, but they play while I get on with things, so I don't mind.

We're taking the elf and his friend out today as it's the last day of the school holidays. No idea where we're going yet, but it will probably involve lunch. The washing and ironing is up to date, the house could do with the hoover running round it (especially in here as we made paper angels yesterday), but that can wait until later. I do need to pull something from the freezer for dinner before we go out, but there's plenty of HM meals in there.

Molly hope Poppy dog's op goes well. I feel so mean every time I take the cats to the vets.

    Take care all of you
  • Morning all

Really grey here but have just got to do some washing. Slept quite well last night which makes a change. My hunt for a day job continues, just think it's so bad for your mental and physical health working shifts.

Have my shopping arriving this morning from Sainsburys, also off to do Mum's cleaning. Meanwhile my own house is a tip. Never mind there's only myself and DS who have to live in it. At least the kitchen and bathroom are clean. Will decide on dinner in a bit. Really can't be bothered to do much at all. Taking DS out at midnight tonight to buy his new xbox game, he's had a deposit on it for months and saved all his birthday money to buy it.

MOLLY hope your doggie is ok it's not just a dog it's family.

Hugs to all unwell, tired and generally p!!!!!!d off. Have a good day all

No real plans apart from to get through the day and then go to my second job tonight and listen to all the old men in the pub trying to chat me up! Can't wait! Oh how I miss Friday nights sat at home on the sofa! :(

    Morning all.

Well I've got a day of researching, writing and practicing my degree dissertation presentation for next Wednesday.

I've got F1 practice on the tv for company, the kids are snuggled under their duvets watching something else, DH is at Uni and the WM is on the 2nd load.

Think I might make some bread sticks and coconut crunchy biscuits later...and I wish Asda would get a wriggle on and tell me when my SC is being delivered to my local store - it should've been there yesterday!

((HUGS)) to anyone who needs/wants one. :A
