Maybe they saw this thread?!
I too wonder what will happen to all the people who bought this deal before they changed the page...0 -
Wish I'd taken a screenshot of the previous page now.
I don't know why this is still in there though 'When it comes to eating, the larger the portions the better. Take the Americans for example, they like to supersize everything, which is great if you've got a big appetite.' This still makes out you can eat loads, when it's actually really limited.
Surely the only reason for going to a buffet is to eat as much as you want? If you're limited, you might as well go and pay to have everything cooked fresh.0 -
Thanks; it's worse than I remembered for going on about the 'all-you-can-eat' malarkey...0

Well personally i would hate the idea of being limited by plates. I only have a small appetite, and tend to eat small portions, and that mixed with the hate of having many things on one plate would mean i would probably get two small portions and still be hungry.
To me all you can eat means just that, we have an amazing chinese who cook food to order but its A.Y.C.E and me and my OH can go in there for a good couple of hours, getting one meal cooked at a time (with maybe a portion of noodles/rice) and then if we are still hungry ordering another.0 -
You only need one plate, if you had two, the food would go cold before you got to the second plate.
...oh plates full...Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
Surely they will have all read the full details and will be aware there is a maximum of two plates per person? If they didn't read the details in the first place, they can only blame themselves.
Surely no buffet is truly "all you can eat"? If I pop down to the local Chinese, they aren't going to let me sit there for the next 40 years for a tenner.
Not quite the same thing. An 'all you can eat' Chinese won't let you come back once you've left, but I've certainly never seen any restrict the amount of food you can eat while you're there, or the amount of plates you can fill.0 -

except wastage, they do not like wastage and will charge for it.0 -
If the plates are 3ft across, there's no problem....seriously...how big are the plates?0
