Good Evening All - Hope we are well
Had a busy day at work, at least it went quick
Came home to wrap rest of parcels up for ebay to post. Finished making a card for friends birthday which needed posting.
Fetched Kids from school, then post off trip.
Started dinner, ironed uniforms for work/school tomorrow, fed animals, WM & TD on, DW emptied and loaded up again.
OH not finishing work till 7pm. Hope to be bathed and kids ready for bed by then!
Will attempt to do more to mums wedding invites. the 2 bridesmaid's dresses arrived today. They are gorgeous. £20 for the 2, incl p&p, new without tags, from Next off ebay. Bargain!
DS grounded after last nights episode. He was such a nasty boy, answering back, huffing & puffing at requests, being cheeky, moaning, being spitefull, more than the usual gripe! I could have launched him! So there will be no cubs/scouts tonight!
Best be off and get dinner served.
Might pop back later
Take care for now
Love as usual

It worth trying and if you dont like it dont do it again, it is quite adictive like this site when you first start, also if you set up a paypal account makes it alot easyier to take payments.
I havent tried amazon but have been reading up on here about it, dont list too much at once, i did once had 75 items on when i first started, i almost lived in post office for a month!!!LOL:rolleyes:

evening!
just got back from work, tea in the oven.
Not had time to read the thread yet but will catch up later.
Been on a training course in Shrewsbury today on Offering Choices so had lunch out on expenses!:D but a healthy one of carrot and coriander soup and a brown roll;)
Very cold here, DH has had lots of baby pigeons born in the last few days so he's up the loft feeding and fussing over them all!
Have lovely evening, hope to read all the thread after tea!
take care xxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Evening all, busy day again and my OU stuff has arrived, tried to read it earlier but had other things on my mind so it just made it more confusing.
Breadmaker on for second time today, last loaf was nicepleased as so far only one ooopsy.
If anyone doesn't know already it's 10p listing day on Thursday again on eBay for Buy Now items. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/sell/070125BIN10p/ info.
I've got the kitchen to finish as DP hijacked it this afternoon to do his RC stuff. I did however get the bathroom done, a wardrobe resorted, and the other laundry sorted, aswell as a quick tidy in the boys rooms. I was going to do it this morning but unfortunately the battery on my car had packed in so had to go get a replacement. Ended up measuring it and getting different one as the one advised to buy was £90 trade price. Paid £35 instead
Got a CV to do for a friend tonight aswell, so trying to think of inspiration on what to put on a CV for someone who has been out of work for 9 years after bringing up her children and has no qualifications at all. Not going to be easy, but something I've had to sort of specialise in lately.
Hope everyones had a good dayGood news is I haven't dropped anything
One day I might be more organised...........

Evening everyone :hello:
Happy birthday AussieLass! :bdaycake: :bdaycake:
Big (((hugs))) to all those that need them.
Bargain Rzl - one of my friends who lives in Southgate, North London cycles to work every day in very central London (just off Bond Street). He has ditched his travelcard altogether. However, his wife (who works for the same company) still has her beloved travel card and thinks that he's barking mad for cycling to work!
Queenie - your poor son. I do despair of what rights some people (read children and parents) think they have to go round whacking others in the face. One boy in the class that I have been teaching in for the past couple of days was apparently "set upon" just after school this evening, in front of his father and other children. The police were called and I wait to find out when I return tomorrow as to the consequences. I believe it was a child/group of children from the school that attacked him.
My mum 'phoned me earlier to say that their dog (who was my "bridesmaid") isn't very well. She's been to see her "Uncle Ed" (ie the vet) today who has given her antibiotics for an infection. My parents' neighbour, "Uncle Frank" (who breeds labradors, so Katie the dog thinks he's fab), brought her round some tripe because she's not eating. Apparently Katie turned her chocolate nose up at it in disgust...... don't really blame her.
I do hope that she gets better. She's also got some lumps on her chest. She had some removed last year by another vet, but my parents were wholly unimpressed with the service (ie they lost the test results on the lumps removed) that she's having them looked at again sometime soon by "Uncle Ed".
My proper bridesmaid (ie adult one) told me at the weekend that her little sister is in hospital with excrutiating pains in her stomach. It can't be her appendix as she had that removed before Christmas..... She's in hospital having tests and has been for the past week. She's only 19, so we hope that things improve rapidly.
DH should hopefully be on his way home from work. It's ostrich burgers with potatoes and baked beans for supper. Nice and easy!
Take care

I have lots of colleagues who cycle. I need to get in touch with the girl from our services dept who handles the allocation of cyclists' lockers in the entrance lobby. There aren't many and I think they're all taken, but we have a pretty high staff turnover at the moment so one may become free.
I reckon I should be able to bike into work in 15-20 minutes which would be an excellent commute by London standards.Operation Get in Shape

Evening all, sites playing up again, I couldn't read page 5 and the post I was about to put up disappeared and I've had to start again...
Lil-me is that whats happened to you - 3 same posts! LOL
DD3 has earache and I was a mean mum and just dosed her up on paracetamol and made her stay at school while I was at wo*k. She has her hot water bottle now. Hope shes okay. I hate earache.
I got home to find that my SIL has just lost her sdad suddenly, poor thing. She has lost her mum, nan and grandad (who mainly brought her up) and now him. Its my nephews birthday tomorrow (11) and he is mad and angry that his grandad has gone - he has been punching the patio doors. I wasn't sure whether to phone her but I'm glad I did - they have all been crying all day - he was a really good man - even took my lot out shopping when they saw their cousins. Lifes a bit rubbish sometimes isnt it?
Anyway guys, keep warm and cosy, take care as always BBxx
Oh and happy birthday Aussielass xIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
