    Good evening everyone,

Site seems to be playing up again, so hopefully this will post (just the once!!!)
Went to the meeting at DSs school, seems a really good trip, itsin July, Monday to Friday out in the middle of Dartmoor. They will be doing archery, absailing, kyacking, making boats, team building and all sorts of fun things (if you are 10!!!) Trouble is, its going to cost £218 - they admitted its a lot of money, but think its worth it for what the children get out of it. Just waiting for the letter about it now, so i can send a copy to his dad, if he will go halves DS can go, if not, then he wont. Allthough the school is a church school, they seem to have a policy of helping those who get free school meals, so me, who, although i work, dont earn very much, wont get any help as we arnt on benefits. Lets hope his dad will dig into his pockets (for once).

DS also had football training tonight, and we've found out that they have a match on Saturday AND Sunday - even tho the league doesnt start until the following week. Oh well, back to the busy weekends standing in the freezing cold muddy fields!!!

Right, hope this posts ok, im off to finish watching you are what you eat!!!
    Have a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Working on friend's CV, just found this site http://www.fulltimemothers.org/newsletters/0502/cv.htm which may be useful to other parents on here compiling a CV looking to return to work.
One day I might be more organised...........

Sorry about the multiple posts, site started playing up and posted 3 the same, oops!
Actually it was four! MSE's great when it's playing up. isn't it? :D

And my post appeared twice :o

Have been trying to find out my cousin's phone number. It's a long story but he and I used to work for the same company (the one I work for now), and one of my colleagues, who knew him well, wants to invite him to a party. Aunt (his mum) is on voicemail, have tried calling my cousin (his brother) but am getting a wrong number, my mum can't help, and our mutual cousin hasn't texted me back

Completely unrelated question - I want a particular item from IKEA, I don't drive, and my "local" IKEA doesn't have it in stock. I have various ways of getting items from my local one - friends/Dad/minicab etc - but not from getting items from further away. Any ideas?

bargain babe oh your poor DD. I had recurrent earache for years as a child and it was horrid. ((((hugs)))) to her.

Oh dear, I did delete what I thought was 8, never mind not my fault :rotfl: just finished the CV and covering letter. Considering she has no academic qualifications, and has only had 7 months employment before having her children and giving up work 8 years ago to bring them up, I'm impressed at what I have managed if I do say so myself :rotfl: I'd employ her.

Just popped by to say big fat
Happy Birthday to our Aussie (although its probably passed for you now:o )

Just had a quick read through and theres some fab tips on the thread today - especially like the freezer bag in the tub one thanks queenie will defo be using this. Hope all is ok with your son - strange really that if he was an adult that would automatically be GBH but cos its a child its bullying and doesnt seem to get the same focus:mad:

The only tip I can offer today is this one - though I think its worth mentioning: when deciding on clothing for work on a morning do not judge the temperature outside against the lovely warm centrally heated bedroom:rolleyes:  particularly relevant by the way if you are working in the wilds of the yorkshire moors:D I am quite surprised all of my extremities are still in place:rotfl:

Anyway as I will be up there for a few days next week I think the thermal vest may have to be purchased (sexy eh:rotfl: )

Anyway best go and catch up with BB I suppose although its pretty boring right now - think they are going out of their way to show us how nice everyone is being to each other:rolleyes:

Have a fun rest of the evening folks
    Hugs Nels xxxx

seroxat_chiI don't know how they could do that to you today. You must really phone consultant's secretary to sort out. This has major implications! You should have a proper diagnosis as to whether you need more treatment or not. I can't believe what have done to you. Love and hugs sweatheart but put yourself first!

Sorry, read until lunchtime been over the Forth Bridge to GS1 birthday. We did bowling but both boys not in a good mood. 4 today and not in a good mood , sore ear, coughing. DD early from work last night with migraine and and now feeling flu is coming down as pregnancy she can't dose up. Dear DGS2 a total wee b***Er = maybe coming down with something too

By the way I came last in the bowling! I was s**t. Only scored 52 in 10 games. Technique got better as I want along! SIL very competitive! Still a lovely day. Baltic coming home in car. Some areas of Edinburgh with snow, but none down east where we are thank goodness.

Valentine - hope fine with you - DD's second scan 9th Feb!

Sorry typos all over the place and site not letting me correct it!

    Love GB

Feeling very icky today, it's that time of the month again and the older I get the worse it gets. Hopefully a few more years and it won't bother me at all, I wonder if I'm the only one who looks forward to the menopause :D

The very reason I had an Hysterectomy 15 years ago, the best thing I ever did, never regretted it for a minute, saved a fortune too :j

I watched River City when the doric kicks in. I really feel bad as totally Scottish and it sounds so strange to me. I do accents but the doric sounds a bit awkward. Do you do doric?
