Good Morning everyone
Happy Birthday Aussie Lass:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:Hope you have a great day and that you'll be very happy in your new home.
Snowy - glad to hear that you are feeling a little better.
Queenie - I hope you get the situation at school resolved. I really feel for your poor lad as it must've been so humiliating for him - far worse than anything physical he would've felt. I'm really glad to hear in Miss behaving's post that finally the slant on bullying is changing. My lads have unfortunately been at the receiving end - and it has certainly influenced my eldests personality. I wish I'd held my ground more with the school - I was far too understanding at the time (mainly because I was trying not to blow my cool, which I should've with hindsight).
Pink - if I'm ever really cross with my boys for something that's meant I've had to spend extra time running around for them I get them to do an extra chore in return (eg pairing the socks - I hate that one)
My Ebay items went quite well - even a few second chance offers accepted, so I'm pleased with that. I was up until gone 11 packing everything again mind. Darling DS1 sat with me for the last bit to keep me company and help wherever he could, bless him.
For those of you who like to make your own pizza bases, I made mine a stuffed crust last night. I stretch the dough into shape as opposed to roll it, so last night I stretched the edges a little more and folded back over an edge of mozzarella. The boys were well impressed :rotfl:
Right, sorry for the essay (bet loads have posted since)
Hugs to all,
Kaz x

Morning everyone!
Happy birthday Aussielass!!!
Very cold again here but still no snow, house smells of hm chinese chicken and pepper soup that dh has just warmed up to take to work, i must make some more warm items he can take to work in his food flask as he is outdoors all day (he works at a car accident and repair centre, valeting and driving the cars back to customers) and he comes home freezing, just short on ideas for that at the minute.
After school run, i intend to do a quick wizz round of the whole house, doesnt need a mega clean as its not to bad, just a quick hoover and tidy.
Then i must iron as the basket is overflowing lol.
I am going to try queenies leek gratin tonight with steamed chicken breast toped with cheese, garlic, onions and musrooms yummy!!
Have a great day everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSSIELASS
HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT ONE!!!
Good morning everyone,
Didnt sleep well last night, and im feeling it this morning - DS was still up at 11.30, and this morning he is still in bed, but i can hear him coughing, so prob not a good idea to be up so late, silly boy!!!
Only one LO here today, and she is at nursery this morning, so im going to pop over to the DIY store and see if they have any fence panels, my BIL will be down on Saturday, so if i have them here, he will put them up for me. Will be interesting to see how i get them home tho, bit of rope and the roof of my car i expect, just hope there will be someone who can help me put them on the roof!!!
Need to do a bit of cleaning as well today, but thats it, DD is on a school trip, and after school i have a meeting at the school regarding the annual year 5 trip (Monday to Friday in May) apparently it will cost £200, so i have told DS if his dad wont help pay, then he cant go - so fingers crossed he will, hes normally as much use as a chocolate teapot, so we will see. Will scan and email him the letter from the school, so he can see its coming from them, and not me.
Right, better get started,
:hello: to all the newbies
:grouphug: to anyone who is poorly, or has had bad news xxx
Have a lovely day everyone, wrap up warm and stay safe!!!
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Catowen ref school trip, if ds dad will not help, i would pop into school, i only say this because i know at our school when i was on the govenors, if parents came in and really couldnt afford to send their child on trips even the big residensal, the school used to pay most of it and let the parent pay what they could afford( or let them pay it back over the year after the trip), this wasnt and still isnt common knowlege obviously as some parents would abuse this, but it is worth a try.
I know when ds school droped on me in dec that he needed £75 for trip in Feb i paniced and nearly went in, but have manged to use the ebay profits to pay for it, or other wise i would have gone in and asked.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
