Nipped in to Tesc0 on the way back from college tonight as I had run out of skimmed milk for the adults and needed a lemon and brandy for the last christmas cake I am making in the morning. Will need to be up early if I am going to leave for work at 10.30am!:eek:
Ended up spending £40.47 as bought nappies, 2 x shower gel on offer, face wash, kitchen roll, some beer for DH and a bottle of sherry on offer. All stuff we needed.
The brandy and sherry will do for next christmas as well and the brandy is for the cakes I am making as gifts but it is too complicated to split it so I am including it all in December's budget.
I am allowing £96/week mon to sun and am at £76.49 so far this week (eek!) and do not need any more food. We are away to my Mum's this weekend so will be getting fed but will get a couple of bottles of Aldi red to take with us so another £7-8 there.
We will be having lunch out on saturday and our annual christmas treat of a gingerbead latte in c0sta but this comes out of the christmas budget.:D:j
If we have any money left in this week's budget we will be having a chinese takeaway on Sunday night as we will be late in and too worn out with all the christmas shopping and a long drive home to start cooking.:oSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -

I've added 9.87 for yesterday and today [mostly yesterday], on veg, some dairy stuff for Him Indoors, bread and some whoopsied fresh raspberries. He's properly getting into his SW plan - especially since he's lost 9lb in his first week :T - and starting to take closer interest in what ingredients we have in stock, and even getting experimental in the kitchen and looking at recipes - quite a change in MO, and could get expensive if I don't keep a close eye on things [not that I'm complaining, you understand - just a bit fiscally wary

I meant to have a small Mr S order delivered today, but our broadband was so useless last night I wasn't able to complete the order process. So it's all sitting there in my basket waiting for me to have another go. I'll think see how much longer I can leave it before I place it - maybe even into next week, if I try hard.
I'm still on this GC to the end of the calendar month, but thinking about Christmas, and how SW-friendly I can make it. I think the first thing is, to stop adding to the 'naughty foods' stash I'd been gathering, and acknowledge that we don't need nearly as much extra or 'special' food as I tend to get in.
The second thing is, to work out what to do with the stack of cheap Mr T choc-chip cookie and muffin mixes I've got in my stash - Him Indoors isn't going to want them now... [need a shrugging smiley]Haven't done the GC since February, but a glance at the Tower of Receipts tells me I really need to get back into it... and plenty of other Challenges besides.0 -
My list for tomorrow is as follows:
- Bananas
- Apples (the ones I got from Aldi are tiny and too sharp for my taste
)
- Milk (small one as Mr F is away so we're not drinking a gallon of tea a day!)
I'm going to aim to spend less than £5 on food tomorrow - sometimes there's a good whoopsie at our Morrisons when I go so I like to allow for that!

I'm saving any Christmas blowout for cheesecake which I adore and have had once in the last six months! I'm not going to eat loads, but Christmas and Boxing Day will be my days off from tracking my food and being on my diet then it will be back on the wagon for me!

just done a small ocado order to use the 25% of voucher they sent me - its primarily stuff for next month so will take it out of rth at budget! With a combination of the voucher and offers I got £83 worth of shopping for £54 inc delivery - lots of chicken thighs and mince for the freezer!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
