I am going to set my budget at £50 a week from now on... but as I am getting really poorly I am just trying to get through the month without dipping into savings for food!! We are all over the place with food shopping/menu planning as I am getting really sick again :(
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!

Gone over my £100 budget for food shopping by over £12 but then I've just realised I haven't been taking off nappies and Christmas things I've been picking up while in Tesco! DOH!! so I'm off to go through my receipts and see what I've got to take off! Will change my Sig once I've figured it out! :D x

Added up and £43.83 of it was not food! £20 nappies and the other was Christmas and a few bits and bobs for cleaning.
    PHEW! :D.

So now i've spent £68.50 this month and have £31.50 left! Think I may still overspend on that one :/ x

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

Got two spends to record today, one from last Saturday at the farm shop for £6.24 and today's spend at A!di for £25.08. Would have been less but I couldn't resist buying a bottle of Advocaat. I realised when I got home that I forgot to pick up some bananas so will have to pick up some at some point.

Got homemade sushi on the menu tonight for dinner and a gammon joint for later in the week, so should be set. :T

We'll see if I can manage to come in under budget next week though, got a turkey and thanksgiving trimmings to buy.;)

Messed up a bit this month as payday 15th should really have set the budget as £300 from 15th nov-december.

but in my signature I included £110 spent from1st to 15th nov.

    This week spent

    £14 co-op mostly reduced bargains:D

spent £40 sainsburys-just on essentials as freezer run out and cupboards empty

hubby got lots reduced bread 10p each from spar:j

we did main grocery shop in morrisions yesterday and spent £130! that did include few treats. load of fish.
essentials like dried pasta, passata ,pepper herbs.
some veg and fruit to make homemade babyfood and cut down use of jars.

today did £29 in butchers so spent

    £224 this week

seems £300 bit optimistic as we ran out of so much.

i forsee us going over but storecupboard stuff means spending less in dec/jan, feb.

plus making some food pressies for xmas which needs to factor into nov.

we need to do big farmfoods shop -minus coupon.
foresee us spending £50 lidsls on fresh fruit and veg in 2weeks time
forsee us checking spar\co-op for reduced chicken/mince and bread so estimate £30 reductions

    so another £150-170 spending.

if i discount £110 will mean nov hit £375-400
    definatly overbudget!

we trying so hard by shopping round but everything seems so expensive.

we family of 5 finding it harder to keep to less than £100 a week including nappies, household and toilitries.
