  • Hmmm Well hubby did a few bits of shopping tonight, that we needed in Co-o, have not yet found the receipt, but did manage to spend £10 over the weekend on nothing much, a couple of burgers at the firework display.

Not doing too bad at the moment, but will need to do a bigish shop this week, as we are busy the weekend. Think it will have to be a home delivery :)

    Hope everyone's well.

£2.49 spent on the way home this evening at Mr S - a loaf, couple of 2l bottles of water, carton of Alpro custard [various fruits are on their way out but I don't want to waste them - the custard could disguise a multitude of sins ;) ]

Slow cooker veg curry for dinner tonight, but with my geriatric spices, it came out more like 'slightly warming stew' - still lovely, though. No room in the freezer, so leftovers will be blitzed for soup for a lunch or three - or a dinner, if Him Indoors goes to visit his mate later in the week and I can't be bothered to cook for one [well, it's healthier than my default setting of reaching for the biccies].

    Hoping for an NSD tomorrow...
Haven't done the GC since February, but a glance at the Tower of Receipts tells me I really need to get back into it... and plenty of other Challenges besides. :o

    hi whats complimenting???? please

Write or email companies to compliment their products or make suggestions to them (new flavours etc) and they sometimes thank you by sending coupons or samples :)

Spent £26.50 today on milk, cereals, pepsi, crisps, salad cream, tea bags and fruit. Everything I got was on offer except for the milk and some satsumas, otherwise it would have cost another £14.14 (not including the 3 chocolate apples that were down to 17p each:o).
So stocked up again (hopefully) for a few more days.

  • Did a shop on Sat night after work as planned in Mr T and now have a £7 off £50 spend till spit for next week! Also put in app Foods order and popped in Iceland for a few things. Sun and Mon were NSDs. Nov spending so far £89.35. I really cannot buy much this week even if I've got money to spare as theres no room to put it! I had the pleasure of explaining about watering down milk tonight when eldest dd asked me to buy semi skimmed instead of full cream milk. Small £3.98 spend for me today at Mr T on the 3for2 baking items.
Had to exchange a pack of chocolate chips, turns out that they were not included in the 3for2 (my own fault for not checking), not sure why they are not part of it, everything else on the shelves had been on the offer and the same make of fudge pieces that were right next to them were in the offer. I did check online when I got home, but they are not even listed now.
Oh well, must remember to double check in future and not assume.
