Happy November and thank you to all those lovely ladies that keep us on the straight and narrow!:T:T
I've decided that I'll try a monthly approach rather than a weekly one this month. Its a 5 shop month for me so I'll try to stick to £150 for the month, averaging out at £30 a week.
This is for all food, drinks (not alcoholic), dog stuff, cleaning and laundry things and toiletries.
There's just me and the dog so I have no excuses and no one else to blame when there's an overspend!
The first shop is on Saturday - will report in with the damage then.0 -

Hello! I'm in for £150 this month, but will come in under this, as the other half who was moving in with me in March has now told me he's moving in in Jan!! This means that I have to use up my stash even quicker! I'm thinking about doing most of my shop at a1di this month, to see if this makes a difference. I was really impressed this morning, and if i cycle there, i'll get exercise and I won't be able to buy too much. We'll see how that goes!!
I pretty much have everything I could need except for fresh stuff, and one of my major aims this month is to buy the amount of fruit we will need, rather than a selection of stuff that goes a bit manky by the end of the week. Super six, here I come!!!

I am still on my October budget until the 1st of November, but can you please reduce my November budget to £300, that is for 5 of us, myself, OH, DD1(22),DS2(13),DD2(10) and visits from DS1(23) and DGS(1).
I do not include dog food as she is on a special diet and I budget for that and her meds separately.
Thanks once again for running the challenge.

I'd like to start the grocery challenge... I know I always spend too much for me, 2 boys (almost 16 & 8) & 1 cat, so am determined to watch what I spend & get it down. I've got DS1's birthday this month, so want to get the spend less than £350 including the food for his party. Feeling very nervous at the idea of only spending that and joining in so committing myself to spending only that!0
