sonee2405 wrote:i want to exchange a no7 facial suncare kit but can't as the helpful staff at the store have removed the plastic tags and cards to make it look used!
Also purchased 2 sanctuary peel masks marked at £3.75 in clearance but they are rock hard and have lost their shelf life so i cant use them as a peel but could easily use it to break a window!Still have a receipt for these but unsure as to what they might say
Just phoned customer services about my eye make-up, explained about the fingerprint, said that I didn't have the reciept and couldn't take it back. The lovely lady I spoke to apologised profusely and credited back the value in points to my card and said i didn't have to bring it back - they wouldn't take it anyway as they don't exchange cosmetics. I think it is definitely worth phoning and chatting to them about your masks, as reduced or not, they're defective. She just asked me how much I'd paid - not even what the product was exactly. Customer services have always been really nice to me and I have always got a better response from them that I have ever got in the store. The number is on the back of the receipt or on the website, best of luck, Cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
the mediterranean parenting voucher is now bogof only so you have to buy 1 item at the full price and it also states excludes gift sets-i suppose you could exchange the item though, it's not a very good offer as the pregnancy range has a limited choice of either a gift pack which is ideal but not allowed with the current voucher or just a wonderbalm.Love can tame the wildest0

sassi wrote:used the 800 points i'd gained to buy the peel and free wrap [/COLOR]]- very pleased!
Can someone just clarify for me - I read on here recently that you couldn't get linked offers on products if you paid with your points. Someone said recently that she wasn't allowed to pay for her peel with points if she wanted to get the wrap free so had to use cash. Does this vary between stores then? I notice that Sassi seems to have done it successfully.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

I have two 300 points No. 7 Uplifting Skincare range vouchers valid until 27-2-07, Does anyone know if they work with any other ranges? Trying to figure best way to use them, maybe a foundation at £12.50 and then something smaller to make the £15 up, or go for broke and buy 2 foundations (always come in handy) which makes £25 and get 600 points back. Would it work and would I get the wrap if I paid via points?

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
i always try the offer when i pay by points it goes through depends if u have a no7 girl or just a normal sa who basically is willing to do what the till says. the till says yes! I returned some no7 bogof 342 suncare stuff which had gone through wrong and i ended up paying £10.50 for the three of them and the woman refunded me no sweat and said nowt about the free wrap which had also gone through on receipt. There was me terrified she would demand my wrap back! Then i would not be able to stroke it!!!!!:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0

I managed to get the half price peel with free wrap, and paid using points. Went to the pharmacy counter, and asked with a smile if i could use points, guy looked a bit blank said it might not work as i had a free item... but would try, and it worked.:rotfl:0

Has anyone had any trouble purchasing reduced Botanic items with the facial care voucher? Tried to buy some Botanics aftershave balm which was marked down to about £2.79ish, but the voucher would not take £2.50 off, despite the sa trying to tell me it had! I think I know the difference between £2.79 and 29p! When she eventually agreed with me, she voided and scanned it numerous times but could not get it to work. I had to run back and grab some Loreal shaving foam instead, leaving the kids at the till!0

celyn90 wrote:Hmm... must be a No 7 thing. I bought a No 7 eye palette last week and when I went to use it this morning I saw it has a finger print in the powder. I'm going to give customer services another ring this afternoon as I'm not happy. I can't find the receipt either and I've thrown all the packaging away so I don't know what they'll say, but at least I can register my annoyance *regrets being obsessively tidy*
ive not had chance to take them back but i might this afternoon.
also i had problem with reduced botanics and the vouchers, the till would not let it through and neither would the SA.I heart The Capital0 -

i had no probs - possibly depends on sales assistant - some people have been refused the peel and wrap when paying with cash too, but definately goes through - till accepts it fine. 800 points for both peel and wrap....bargain! - good luck:heart2::heartpuls:heart2: I WOULD NOT CHANGE MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTER FOR THE WORLD

Really disappointing shop in Boots for me today. There was no Boots cold and flu relief, Sanctuary rose and mint mask or Essential Aromatherapy pillow mist in stock at all.
I tried to get the free wrap with the glycolic peel (which was still marked up on the shelf at £16.00) but it wouldn't go through and they wouldn't let me have it.
I also bought an Essential Aromatherapy relaxing body creme for £1.00 but I've only just noticed that my 100 points voucher didn't scan. Is it worth me contacting Customer Services?
On the plus side, I did find a discarded voucher by the baskets.:rotfl:Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0
