I used the Advantage Card Machine today for the first time and got my points on the Sanctuary (combined with the £2.50 voucher) and the essential aromatherapy range. Thanks to the posters on this thread for making me aware of it.

I do have a question though - I went to the 2nd boots in my town, got another Sanctuary points voucher from their machine but then found that they didn't stock that range there. So I was wondering if the vouchers have to be used on the day that they're issued or if I'd be able to use it on Monday when I'm next in town? Or do I have to print another voucher then?

    Thanks very much :)

I also have A Sanctuary voucher printed yesterday....on the left hand side it says it is valid till 27th Feb. HTH
  • Guys, i'm a bit confused!! are there 2 different vouchers being given out at the moment for a £5 spend? ie the one with 2.50 off Nivea/time delay and 2.50 of mens skincare and another one with the 2.50 of luxury bathtime stuff (sanctuary)?
i love the sanctuary stuff but always thought it was a bit pricey so nows probably the time to stock up!!

Thanks Liverbird. I hadn't spotted the expiry date - just the date that it was printed.

Hopefully this means I can stock up on a few and not have to visit the machine every day.
  • Would some lovely soul be kind enough to list when free gift sets are being given away with the premium beauty products? I live in a small town and although Im lucky enough to have a decent sized Boots, the only counter we have is a No7 one (and I wish we didnt have that so that I dont get evil looks from the dragons when I grab a wrap and run off to the suncare aisle!), so we dont have Clinique or Elizabeth Arden and the like. It would be nice to know for eg when there is a Clinique bonus time on etc, so I can go to our nearest city and get it from their Boots! I know some freebies are advertised on the website, but Ive known Boots.com and the stores to differ with their offers.

    Thanks in advance!!! :)

Answers to those questions are no and no. Although I think some have bought online for cash and returned for refund instore and then re-bought with points. I think you can only do this if the store actually stocks the item though.
AH no- I was saving for a camcorder!!!
Is there Boots stores that stock these sort of items?

Sanctuary 3 for 2. Got 3 of the mini foot care kits @£5 each. Total came to £10 so used the £2.00 voucher from the wrap set. Paid £8.

Not much in Kensington High Street branch. SA wouldn't allow £2.50 voucher on reduced Sactuary face care. :-(

Cooks chopping board set orginally £12. Was in clearance section with 1/2 marked price sign but scanned at £10 so didn't buy it.

Branch worth a visit if you like origins range as itis stocked there. Skin care kit costs £27.00 but contains goods worth approx £60. (Got one as a present with my points.):D

Holland Park Boots - which is very small did have Christmas Wrap for 29p.

I was reading my Red magazine today and there was an advert for Roc Skincare. It mentioned that it was celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and there would be a free gift with a spend over ten pounds on Roc stuff (i think it was 10 pounds!) in BOOTS from end of February through most of March. I know this is early to post this, but I thought if I didn't post it now while I remembered, I'd forget before the end of the month!

    Hi

I had this problem before Christmas and was told that there is a Boots Direct catalogue that shows some of the items that can be seen online. Each store should have one but don't hold your breath as I had lots of trouble in store finding someone who knew what I was talking about!! Anyway, if the item is in it then you can order it into the store for collection and pay with points, or that is what I was told.

    Good luck!

Also I asked if it would be possible to pay for items online using points and they are thinking about it!
