Tried getting a reduced pack of Sanctuary wipes and used 200 points AC voucher but points didn't go on. An interfering SA (NOT ONE WHO SERVED ME) said in as a 'matter of fact' tone that I shouldn't be using AC vouchers other than from store I printed it from and that is why it wouldn't automatically add, she said wouldn't work as their store doesn't have AC machine.
    Load of sloblock!

You can use AC vouchers in any store, regardless of the store they were printed in.
Well I just thought to myself stuff you at least I've finished my work and able to shop whilst she was still stuck at work being a miserable uptight b*g whereas I enjoy my job that pays better than hers.
That's good - no point in internalising your anger! :p
Yesterday, had a bad experience too in my local branch, was trying to return hairspray as it had jumped up in price from £3.65 to £4.49 in days and only noticed later. Asked if I could get the small hairspray £2.49 instead (essentailly free bearing in mind £3 haircare voucher) and just be refunded £1.49. Well manager was called to deal with transaction who told me I had lost my rights to £3 haircare voucher and would only get £1.49 back and have to pay £1 in addition if I wanted the mini hairspray.
No reason why you can't return the large hairspray another day without your receipt and get the full £4.49 back. :)

    Hi
    Quick question-
I have loads of points and am saving for a camcorder.
If you are buying on Boots.com-you can use your points can't you?
Can you pay half cash half points? (I think I know the answer to this one!)

    Thanks;)

Has anyone ever tried to use the £3/£5 vouchers after the expiry date to see if they work?

Just a thought as I am sure there are some of us with vouchers still left over.

    Anyone else joining our club?

In the last 2 weeks I've got through 4 boxes of Throat Lozenges & 2 packs of Cold & Flu Relief, (100pt voucher), 2 boxes tissues, (BOGOF) and 2 boxes Of Benylin Sachets, (previous freebie)

It's gone from the SA saying 'Oh you look as if you really need that' to 'Are you still suffering?' :rotfl:

My family also went down with the flu last week but thankfully once the worst was over wasn't too bad.

We caught it from our son.

Answers to those questions are no and no. Although I think some have bought online for cash and returned for refund instore and then re-bought with points. I think you can only do this if the store actually stocks the item though.

I used the Advantage Card Machine today for the first time and got my points on the Sanctuary (combined with the £2.50 voucher) and the essential aromatherapy range. Thanks to the posters on this thread for making me aware of it.

I do have a question though - I went to the 2nd boots in my town, got another Sanctuary points voucher from their machine but then found that they didn't stock that range there. So I was wondering if the vouchers have to be used on the day that they're issued or if I'd be able to use it on Monday when I'm next in town? Or do I have to print another voucher then?

    Thanks very much :)

quick question has anyone managed to do the smile tooth paste thing more than one, does the machine give a new voucher each day or is this one per customer

I printed one of yesterday and the machine only allowed me one. Used my OH's card and his only allowed one voucher. Sometimes I have found I can print 3 or 4 off but not this time. Shall see if it gives me another voucher on my next visit to Boots - where there is an AC machine and it IS working!

Yes, me too, twice in January, the full works, soar throat, cough, sneezing, runny nose, temperature, got well for a week and then started all over again. Dozens of 100 point coupons to use up and I think I need to restock!

grrrr I've just looked at my receipt and I didn't get the 100 points for essential aromatherapy - is there anything that I can do? I know the SA took the voucher and scribbled across it to say it had been used.
