Have had a really bad week but made it down to Boots before the £5 voucher ran out and got bogof suncare and free gift for grand total of £2.50, so a huge thanks to the op (sorry cant remember who it was) who posted that information on here.

Ive just used the make up in the gift set and i feel a lot better, amazing what a bit of make up can do!

Just think - in Ireland they have the Euro so the advantage point coupons (from the No 7 wraps) are worth more to reflect this.

Now if you use those and spend the points back in the UK you have made a profit - not much but a little bit !

if that works you wouldnt want to spend the points you already have on your card over there

hi,

I am really new to all this and have just got my temporary boots advantage card. Am I allowed to get more than one magazine to get the extra points vouchers?
And what are the best buys to get.

I am thinking they might have a separate advantage card system for Ireland.....a Euro is worth two thirds of a pound (very roughly !) so in theory if you earn 4 points per euro (4 cents) instead of 4 points per pound (4 pence) and Irish points could be redeemed in the UK you could make a profit by building up your points in the Ireland and spending in the UK.

In effect you would be earning 400 points for a £70 Irish Spend.

This would not matter in Ireland as 400 points would be used in lieu of 400 Euro cents (aprox £2.70).

But in the UK 400 points would be used in lieu of 400 pence.

My brain hurts - wish I had not thought of this now :rolleyes:

Note to self : book flight to Ireland, pack tent, hire Cargo ship

hi you can get a 100 point voucher from the machine in store, then you can buy 3 items from the smile range, can be any items and get them on 3 for 2 and gain 100 points,

i got the normal adult tooth paste at 59p each and ended up paying 1.18 and getting 100 points, some people have been finding clearance items from this range and it all still working

forgot to add the smaile range is a boots own range of dental care
