  • I think most of us would agree it's best to try and cover up the till glitch with other purchases.

    Picking up the £8 peel kit plus the wrap and marching to a No 7 till with £8 in your hot little hand (or until today £3 and a £5 coupon!) is one option but then again there are easier ways to humiliate yourself in public.

    Now it could work....but it will be discussed "in the tearoom".....No 7 staff will hear about it and there will be a mad rush to hide the remaining £8 kits. Electric fencing will be erected. Depending on the size of the Boots store a moat may be constructed. There may even be a crocodile.

    Best to pick up some bulky items on 3 for 2 / buy one get one free and filling up your basket like you were a contestant on supermarket sweep. Then go to a normal checkout....preferably as the lights are dimming for closing !

    i got a botanics weekend pamper kit reduced to 1.50 today and used 100 points from mag - loads of mags there

    loads of items reduced in section of the santuary spa bits - got a hand and nail cream for 1.12 and got the 200 points from acm.

    nivea mens shave foam 2.69
    gianni dazzling shine shampoo 3.95 (100points acm)
    sntuarary as before (200 points acm)
    used 5 no7 voucher, 3 haircare and mens 2.50 voucher
    paid approx 6 pounds got back 360 points

    free wrap

    umberto dazzling conditioner 3.99 (100 points acm)
    used 5 voucher for no.7, 3 haircare and 2.50 mens skincare
    paid 4.18 got back 210 points

    just tried the sanctuary menthol scrub its really good makes the face all tingly after a few minutes then cool and then really soft.I like it for 75p with skincare voucher and 200 points.Might get the peel mask tomorrow.going bed now to test out the sleep easy aromatherapy essentials pillow mist.

    My local boots havent got any botanics etc reduced :mad: If i start talking crXX blame the drink :D i always meet up with my friend in the week about twice so we go to boots together after i update her on the glitches :j then we go for a coffee and have a chat about what we just got :rotfl: for pennies:T
